I'll admit, my gut feeling isn't as strong this time around, so I would be a little hesitent too. I see no reason to change it for now, because its still pretty much all I have to go on. Mostly because Roy hasn't really caught my attention, Ecurt's attack is just meh, and there are still some people who have yet to post.
Edit (It seems like everytime I post nowadays I get ninja'd): As for the post above me, I did a gut feeling thing, nothing more than that. Go for it if you want, don't if you don't. |

Mes has stated she changes how she plays regularly. You can't really get anywhere with that. I've never played a game with her where she wasn't aggressive(in my opinion). You never really can tell with Mes. By how she plays I mean she changes her strategy to win.

This could be Newb just trying to be usefull before something happens. On the other hand it could be a mafiate seeing a chance to stir up trouble later. Coming out with an eager defense like that for someone no one has expressed really negative feelings about is kind of suspicous. So right they're he could be counting on people to start thinking that they are in league. I'm not entirely sure what the mason situation is so they could just be masons. On the flip side of this if Newb get revealed as a mafaite then this premptive defense of Mesden could come back to bite her. It is a decent method to make someone seem guilty by assoication, especially if I get killed and revealed as a townie. That would place at least some focus on Mesden which would be compounded by Newb's actions. All in all, I'm a little wary of Newb now but my stance is still more or less the same as it was to everyone else. |

I wasn't trying to narrow down to a single mafia with that post, I was trying to see how people reacted. And, having read through so far, I have a gut conclusion. FoS: Roy. Please understand that this is but a gut feeling. My feelings is that he's maybe trying a little to hard to be active, but not really contribute as much as he could. |

Really, SK, if Roy raised any suspicion, it should have been how he was so ready to defend Neyo before Neyo even has had a chance to talk, going so far to say as "He might have a town role," which you really should never assume this early in the game, and never mention it out loud if you were a townie.
The one time I was an evil role, I tried to convince people you had a good role (which I believed you did), so that the mafia would go after you. Of course, they didn't, but that was the tactic I was trying to use. Also, he questioned what IC's reasoning was when IC had clearly stated that it was a gut instinct. As for the Space Pope Vote, if he's inactive then voting him off would actually hurt us less than if we were to vote off an active townie, though I admit that if there is someone more suspicious then we should vote them off first. And Ogianres-suspecting people just because they seem too helpful is even worse than going after people on a gut instinct. Not only does it clue them in to change tactics (because, unlike other actions, you can't really argue that someone's guilty of being too helpful), less people will post worried that they'll be suspected too, leading to less actual "evidence" to be found. That's pretty anti-game if you ask me. EDIT: Ninja'd. To be updated after I read Neyo's post. EDIT x 2!: After reading your post, Neyo, and having heard someone mention that Twiddy did play well in the last game (though, I believe it was mentioned it was because he was mafia, but still), I'm less suspicious of you now than I am some people. Ecurt, for some reason, the Neyo thing didn't really bother me as much as the other thing. I only FoS'd and I only FoS'd because I only got the feeling he was trying to agree too much. Yes, he did say he agreed with Mes' reasoning but then in the next sentence he said he could be wrong. If anyone asked him why is agreed with Mes' logic he could say he thought she had good reasoning but he wasn't sure. *shrugs* That is why I am gonna keep an eye on him.

I've been gone for a few days, so I've had some catching up to do. Anyhoo, I seems everyone's going on gut feeling because it's always difficult to start a game without making yourself look scummy. Some people have great ideas, most of us are lurking (to detract atention, no doubt). But I'm back and ready to play. And, on a related note, I'm not siding with Ecurt here, I just believe his logic makes sense. Mesden and Sith could be playing the game properly, detracting attention from posssible roles while staying active enough to not look suspicious.
