So we're already rolling up character sheets without any word of the plot or setting?
Some motivation would be nice. Also for one, as it's often changed for campaign's sake, we're starting at level 1 I assume? (Arrgh!) and with how much gold? *Level 1 characters in DnD have lifespans that make L5R samurai look generous.

Assuming this lasts long enough for it to matter, if I use an uncommon exotic weapon, would you allow me to just pay to "enchant" it, since it is unlikely I'll be able to find any through normal looting?

Do you mean you'll tailor it to the characters? Because I don't think magical Greathorn Minotaur Greathammers are all that common if you don't...

Who said santa Orc doesn't deliver gifts to moster's? You'll find all manner of weapons and such. Also I'll say you can start off with 60 Gp

That is considerably less than the average a rogue would get. Oh, btw, I'm starting as a rogue... Taking fighter levels later.

I second pheonixflame, I would have more fun if we started at a higher level. Mostly because it allows for more twinkery, but that's just me. :3

Okay, two casters (one as archivist), a cleric, a meatshield, ...doh I've forgotten the rest. And two rogues including myself.
Argent, how are you planning on rolling your rogue levels? Just so we don't wind up doing the same thing. I'm likely gonna be a lot of tumble and jump and escape artisting, more that the social skills. Not that I intend to ignore bluff entirely.
