Knives and fire spells would sound good. Maybe specialize in fire-based AOE/DOT abilities or something.
AND FIND A MOD THAT LETS YOU TURN DOWN THE MANA COSTS ON THE DESTRUCTION SPELLS. Cuz Daaaaaayyyyuuuummm. Last edited by Pip Boy; 04-16-2009 at 09:00 PM. Reason: There is no DOE |

I'm really trying hard to figure out how to make a mod that allows you to wield a frying pan of some kind.

I think a ninja cook is the most badass idea ever.
Especially if the ninja cook is also a wizard, or can at least set things on fire with his mind. |

Basically it just made a weapon of x-type, and gave it the texture/meshes of the farm implements. It then replaced all the normal instances of those items with the new one. If you know how to make mods it shouldn't be that hard. I could probably develop a mod for FO3 that does that given a little time. I'm not very good with the GECK currently (just used it so far to tone down a mod or two because I liked the looks of the items in them but they were rather unbalanced).

Have to push the first update back to MOnday night, as I've got to go do things other than video games this weekend.
but yes, I've modelled the cook class on the magic side, with Intelligence and Endurance being the main attributes. Intelligence because it takes a good head to memorize and invent new recipes and endurance because long hours in a stifling kitchen require a hardy constitution. His skills, if I remember correctly, are blade (fer cuttin!) alchemy (representing the extension of his ingredient combining abilities) Destruction (just in case he need to start a fire) conjuration (just in case he doesn't have ingredients on hand) alteration (helps when carrying loads of groceries) mercantile (for bartering with butchers and grocers) and speechcraft (sort of an afterthought since I decided he was a bit of a ladies man.) He'll use mainly daggers in melee combat, as they best resemble a chef's knife. I'll be using the alternate beginning mod. so where do you guys want to start? Anvil or Imperial City? |

Anvil just to be different from all the Oblivion games I've played.

I second Anvil. I like the Port city aesthetic.
Also, the crazy wood elf guy at the docks made me chuckle to myself.

Anvil because I hate the guards in Imperial City with a passion.

Anvil, because I loath the name "Imperial City".

Is there a way to get a chef's hat. Because that'd be pretty awesome.
