I like the comic because it is basically the original story except it takes the whole "humble yourself before the gods" moral and throws it out the fucking window.

Naw it's just that the general consensus (which I agreed) was that Lookouts was a bit of a disappointment, and I was like, okay, yeah, but I don't think it's over yet, there's a bit more.

The fact that it was literally four parts and that's it made me go, wow, okay, no, that's a bit of a letdown.

Two tidbits I love about Gunnerkrigg Court and Shortpacked recently-

Leslie is singing the Serenity theme song. Her sci-fi geekism fits so perfectly into the madness of the rest of the SP crew, I love it.

Parley has a Metroid II poster. Holy crap I see why Andrew's so into her.

Lookouts really needed Tycho writing it. He really gets the epic fantasy feel right when he does it. The Lookouts comic he did felt like something that could be told in song.
