I mean just look at those last four frames. Chaos is talking like he was one of the light warriors; wasting time on petty semantic quibbling while white-hot fiery doom is staring him in the face.

I dunno how they did it, but the LWs infected him with their fail. The white mages were just the comedy step-on-a-rake-in-the-face that knocked him over, but it was the LWs who sucked all the brains out of him first.

Chaos has been acting stupid from the moment he manifested. he should have just blsted the world right from tha moment but instead he stood arund and did nothing but spout semi-nonsense for a day.

And sadly, the LWs are too de-powered to pose any king of threat to the WWs, so we won't even get an epic final confrontation.

So Brian since I was sick this weekend and didn't get to go to the comic shop lemme ask, are you excited that 8BT is wrapping up? I figure you've probably been ready to move on to bigger and different things for a while now, even if it is bittersweet.

I still hold to my theory that, with whatever bit of Sarda was still inside Chaos now quite thoroughly dead, any spell he cast, including deleveling and loss of class change, should be reverting shortly. Because everybody know defeating an enemy automatically reverses everything they've done with no effort on anybody's part.

I was ok with it ending back in the last issue, but now that I think about it, it just doesn't feel right with the Light Warriors still alive.

I'll be honest, I was rooting for chaos in the 12th.

Well, we've already had the everybody dies ending, and the all a dream ending - so I guess the only thing left is finding out that King Steve is Tyler Durden.
