I think we've gone past the need for balance in terms of character classes. Team 2 got all the Kimonos. I might as well get all the battle pokebrids, especially since it's tactically suitable and appropriate from a roleplaying stance. EDIT: I was looking over the movelists for Dominic's pokemon that I made, since Snorlax got knocked out. Imagine my shock when I realized that I put Psych Up on Umbreon and yet forgot all about it. ^^ (No edit either) I was going to consider switching Shaymin to Swampert so it can use Psych Up too, but Wobbuffet and Dugstrio prevents switching. (And Wobbuffet isn't a worry since there are a lot of targets to choose from.) ... oh shit. That means that Moon's switching Lanturn to Starmie was illegal. *Embarressed* Last edited by Menarker; 04-30-2010 at 08:22 AM. |

Criminal!
Man, Lola is going to be so dissappointed when Renny gets hauled off to jail. His parents, too. Especially Maria. And then comes along Pierce dressed up like a Snorlax.

I'm tired, I'll think Drac's strategy through tomorrow and suggest some improvements.. Seems good at face value, though I think that this round, we definitely need Dormond to act, not heal. He has a lot of damage, we need to use that.
Ok, screw it, I'll suggest improvements now. First, let's not send Kiyomi over. I want to use her ultimate signature technique, her "raging Raider". It sounds quite powerful. Certainly powerful enough to eliminate all the weakened Raikner. Also, it sounds quite explode-y, and I'm thinking that might be enough to remove the corpses as well. I think it'll be worth it. Let's send Charlotte over instead, if Bard's ok with that. And, if not, then we can send Rachel. Secondly, screw Impact. No, seriously, for the good of the team, let him sit this round out. Dormond has huge attack (now), if he paradigm shifts, he can utterly screw one of the Orbishriek, weaken it, maybe kill it altogether. I've already been meaning to propose something, might as well mention it now. Hey, AB, can Slayers get a sort of "meditation" ability? Like, an ability that lets them sit out a turn, and, in turn, remove stuff like confusion, negative stats buffs (because screw you, I've only got one adrenaline boost, the positive ones stay), or, in this case, the inability to use melee weapons? Because that'd make him a bit less vulnerable, while not being OP. If this is possible, I'd totally have him use it now. I say we have Rayquaza and Pierce (himself, not his pokemon) remain on standby, in case not all Raikner die. The rest (Whitney, Kingdra (though, I'd prefer Nagrai), Dormond and Shizuka (normally attacking) and Rachel) hit the Orbishriek. I think we can kill at least two, three if Rayquaza can lend a Dragon pulse. And if we have Raging Raider go second-to-last, we can conceivably justify the absence of corpses on the battlefield, so the remaining Harpressor (and inevitable wave of Atunhand) don't have as much ammo to use against us. If I've said anything really, really stupid, blame it on my sleeplessness. I'll be more coherent tomorrow, though even half-asleep I've come up with something better than Drac's lame-ass plan. You do realize your plan revolves around Charlotte choosing not to kill some never before seen Ruin pokemon to play with some lame-ass Pokebrids, right?
Yeah, I thought so. Still, maybe AB can let us send Whitney over. I'll edit the new plan into this post. Also, I'm trying not to rely on Kiyomi's signature moves too much because the one she's used proved to be quite random. It could hit the Raikners. Or it could hit the Harpressors and the Juggernaut.

Eh. We'll have Charlotte revive Spitz, for even more Super Fang. So yeah, Rachel, Whitney, whichever.
Anyway, g'night. Try not to say anything too stupid while I'm gone. If you get the urge, just make fun of Renny's mom instead. |

I'm against sending Rachel over, because then we're just left with Dormond for support.
By the way, is a support NPC really necessary to heal Impact? Can't he just pull out a Full Restore and dump it on himself? He can carry his own items, after all. Or, God help me for suggesting this, we can just move Impact. I realize he's in no condition to move, but I figure we can just get someone to carry him a short distance away and free up his space. Because screw Impact. Huh, you know, reading Kiyomi's signature techniques, I see no mention of Raging Raider being random. So AB, does Raging Raider his random targets for random damage, or is it fixed? And if it is fixed, how many targets does it hit? I'm guessing it hits three, because both Mechanized Cavalry and Apple Splitter hit three targets too. ------------------- Impact: Retreat from the battle. Shizuka: Attack Orbishriek A. Rachel: Have Registeel use Flash Cannon on Orbishriek A. Charlotte: Revive Spitz, have it use Super Fang on Orbishriek B. Rayleen: Have Rayquaza use Dragon Pulse on Orbishriek B. Dormond: Paradigm Shift, Iron Head on Orbishriek C. Whitney: Use Psych Up to copy Dormond's boost. Mika's Juggernaut: Taunt Juggernaut. Kiyomi: Raging Raider (hopefully to target all Raikners). Pierce: Dragon Pulse living Raikner. If all Raikners are dead, Draco Meteor Orbishriek A. If that's also dead, attack Juggernaut. Pierce's personal: Attack live Raikner. If dead, attack Orbishriek C. If that's also dead, attack Juggernaut. Charlotte's personal: Attack live Raikner. If dead, get Orbishriek C. If that's also dead, attack Juggernaut. What this'll do: Kill all Raikners. Hopefully kill three Orbishrieks. More realistically, kill two and A or C is critically damaged. To elaborate: I think Kiyomi's Raging Raider hits three targets. If the surviving Raikner is C or D, Pierce and Charlotte will kill it. If it's A or B, Kingdra will Dragon Pulse at it. Also, Mika's Juggernaut shouldn't have been damage at all by the enemy Juggernaut's Slam Fist, since Ruin pokemon are immune to Fighting damage.

Drac, didn't you say that you were planning on sending Whitney over to my side? Don't see it in your revised plan. She can end up Psyching Up a full boost from a foe there. (Or I can just use her high Special Attack and knock out some other pokemons.)

I want AB to confirm whether or not we can send Whitney over there first.
Say, can Dormond Pokeshift and Paradigm Shift and attack on the same turn? Not that it matters right now. Dormond using Iron Head in Mawile form does more damage than Zangoose. Still, it'd be nice to know.

Just posting my current course of action that I've planned up so I don't forget when I leave for work.
Current foes: At first I was thinking that Magnezone should have been knocked out by Earthquake due to its quad weakness, but then I noticed that Bastidon's attack and special attack is shitty. Still hurt it like hell though - Magnezone (Electric/Steel) [Skarmory Pokebrid Pokemon 1 of 6] Moves: Zap Cannon / Gyro Ball / Magnet Rise / Thunder Wave Ability: Magnet Pull - Swalot (Poison) [Arbok Pokebrid Pokemon 2 of 6] Moves: Gunk Shot / Body Slam / Toxic / Rest Ability: Liquid Ooze - Sharpedo (Water/Dark) [Sableye Pokebrid Pokemon 1 of 6] Moves: Night Slash / Skull Bash / Brine / Rain Dance Ability: Rough Skin - Banette (Ghost) [Sableye Pokebrid Pokemon 2 of 6] Moves: Shadow Ball / Will-O-Wisp / Dark Pulse / Curse Ability: Insomnia - Wobbuffet (Psychic) [Claydol Pokebrid Pokemon 1 of 6] Moves: Counter / Mirror Coat / Safeguard / Destiny Bond Ability: Shadow Tag - Xatu (Psychic/Flying) [Claydol Pokebrid Pokemon 2 of 6] Moves: Psychic / Ominous Wind / Steel Wing / Aerial Ace Ability: Early Bird - Bastiodon (Rock/Steel) [Skarmory Pokebrid Pokemon 3 of 6] Moves: Take Down / Iron Head / Ancient Power / Earthquake Ability: Sturdy - Linoone (Normal) [Dunsparce Pokebrid Pokemon 3 of 6] Moves: Slash / Belly Drum / Rest / Giga Impact Ability: Limber - Ursaring (Normal) [Dunsparce Pokebrid Pokemon 4 of 6] Moves: Hammer Arm / Thrash / Rest / Giga Impact Ability: Guts - Torterra (Grass / Ground) [Donphan Pokebrid Pokemon 4 of 6] Moves: Leaf Storm / Giga Drain / Crunch / Earthquake Ability: Overgrow - Dugtrio (Ground) [Donphan Pokebrid Pokemon 5 of 6] Moves: Fissure / Earthquake / Earth Power / Stone Edge Ability: Arena Trap - Toxicroak (Poison/Fighting) [Arbok Pokebrid Pokemon 3 of 6] Moves: Sludge Bomb / Toxic / Focus Blast / Rainy Day Ability: Dry Skin ------------------ Plan of Action Toxicroak: Use Psychic for quad damage (Whitney) Torterra: Use Blizzard for Quad damage (Shannon's Abomasnow) Dugstrio: Also targetted by Shannon's Blizzard for STAB super effective damage and hit by Water attack for STAB super effective damage by Moon. Linoone: Use Fighting bullet (Harriette) for high damage (Half stamina due to Belly Drum) Sharpedo: Another Electric Attack for Super Effective Damage (Badly wounded) (Evangaleen) Wobbuffet: Toxic (Dominic's Electrode) Ursauring: Sleep Powder (Matt). Triggers its Guts ability, but it cannot attack when asleep and when it wakes up, it loses Guts. Swalot: Shaymin uses Air Slash for STAB damage and 70% Flinch chance (Already heavily damaged too) Magnezone: Lola uses Fighting attack Low Kick (100 power when used on Magnezone due to its weight. Look it up on Bulbapedia) Super effective and it's already heavily damaged due to quad damage earthquake. Maria: Heal Standby and watching our backs Uneffected: Banette, Xatu, Bastidon End antipicated result: Toxicroak, Tortella, Dugstrio, Linnone, Sharpedo, Magnezone and perhaps Swalot all knocked out. Ursauring asleep. Wobbuffet badly poisoned and it can't attack directly anyhow. If Swalot isn't knocked out, 70% chance of it being flinched and thus unable to attack or use Rest to recover. Banette, Xatu and Bastidon all untouched. |
