I'm mostly thinking about how to go about this.

If I had the Destiny Point for androgynous, I would just Steal Heart this dude into agreement.

Well, through violence, at least. As Overcast has proven, it's harder to intentionally frighten anyone without the charisma to convince them you're scary.

And you don't technically need to make the actual speech. Just say what you want to do and tell Krylo to roll it.

A question, the quest description says it's a day's ride.
I'm not sure how fast a chocobo-driven wagon goes, but I can't imagine it being more than maybe 150 km/day. A hard march will give you 50 km/day. That's an extra 4 days of travel time there and back again, at most. Doesn't seem like too much.

Basically, my point is, couldn't you just walk?
