Krylo does Awareness/Survival checks regularly, if we were supposed to notice something significant, we would have.

As that I just did a couple opposed speech checks for some people and there seems to be some confusion on how they work with PCs (and NPCs too, for that matter):

An opposed check can only tell your PC that you are inclined to believe some one, or are, indeed, scared, or not scared at all, or feel strangely comforted or whatever other thing. They can not, however, tell a PC what to do with that feeling.

For instance, Jade walks in on a man who has just gotten done killing a family. He is utterly convincing in his tale of how he had just gotten there but moments before. Jade is inclined to believe him. However, Jade may still decide that he should wait and tell his story to the proper authorities, and may even decide that his constant attempts to leave have broken the illusion of trust he wove with his conversation.

She doesn't have to just let him walk.

Also: Teal is right in that I do survival/awareness/whatever other checks may come up without needing to be asked to do them. For instance the opposed speech checks between Docus/Jade and the hunting shop keeper trying to sell them obviously very helpful objects of mighty power, that is not at all over priced garbage. Or a series of awareness/survival checks in Group 1.

I should point out that I'm not in much desire to post because group 1 is basically just navigating a maze right now. I don't particularly want to try and write up a post to say "I think we should go right" every time a new option is presented.

It makes sense as a group to discuss where to go, but only in person. Over a forum it would take months to fully navigate a hospital. So, as it seems to have been going, I say whoever posts a direction first is the way the group goes until something happens.

If the GM wasn't Krylo, I'd be worried about that, but he can probably make small decisions like that with some kind of check (if he even plans to give us options like that - he's got enough experience to know to avoid those, largely). If we pass, we take which over route is better for us (time-saving, safer, has treasure lying around, whatever the difference is) and if we don't, we take the less beneficial route. If there's no difference between the routes, no need to roll the check.

Anyway, for the moment, we have a destination, so Krylo shouldn't need to post anything other than us arriving there - unless we encounter guards or need to make a significant decision.

Unless I get objections. Does Arden get objections? I'm starting to believe she's in charge, you know.
