Just started building a mineshaft to get some iron so that I can hopefully make a good rollercoaster some time soon. Any suggestions as to how I should do it or where I should build it are definitely welcome.

And just for the hell out of it, I'm trying to build a huge tower out of trees stacked one on top of the other. Anyone know if there are any special requirements in order for the tree saplings to grow? It's out in broad daylight and I put my second sapling on top of a dirt block, which is resting on the tip of the tree, so I'm hoping that it will work out fine.

Well, it appears that Thadius has made some major updates to his headquarters and slipped out for coffee. Let's poke around a bit, shall we?

The first thing we notice is a massive wall of cacti and a stone entry arch.

Going through the door and up through the arch, we come to here. Looks like this lever can seal access in and out of the base; there's no way to open it from the outside. We were lucky Thad left it open.

Down the shaft a ways, near the caverns, we come across this curious little sign. Now just how does Thadius think he can grow trees and cacti underground?

Quite well, actually.

Back in the library. Let's blatantly ignore the posted sign, shall we?

Pretty standard as far as living quarters go, and yet that painting intrigues me. Seems there's a draft from behind it...

Yeah, not touching that. I may be stupid, but I'm not stupid. Big difference.

And last but not least, the armory, found by taking another ladder down from the bedroom. Just barely audible is the sound of the hellgate portal. Connection?

So yeah, I just got this the other day, and I've played it more or less nonstop. What a fun game.

You know... at first I thought about making a little area based off of a game such as SMB or IWBTG, but I'm not quite sure how to pull off the insta-kill areas... or the Jumping areas.

I actually just finished a small platforming area. The only thing that makes it tough is that you can't jump very far, so you're pretty limited as to how far apart you can put platforms.
