Uh uh yeah Sword Art Online: Suddenly, cliché storm and plot being handled stupidly! |

Note: it's not a show about napping or a nap club.
You know what I'm enjoying a lot more than I expected? Chuunibyou. I could watch gifs of twintails and hairclip fighting all day, as evidenced by me spending hours doing just that in the last two weeks. Also, kinda beside the point, but a nap club is a great idea. Not enough people appreciate naps.
Also also, totally called that Shin Sekai Yori spoiler about figuring out that the seal on their powers was in their heads . At least half way, anyway.

So, Sword Art Online. Is it worth a look?
I've been seeing it brought up alot on my FB page. And it has the words "Sword" and "Online" in it's name.

I mean, I promised Ryong I'd watch it, but I'm watching Saint Seiya instead, so I dunno.
Edit: I was reviewing my posts in this thread, and I was (obviously) reminded of something. Is anyone watching Girls und Panzer? Is it about tanks, or is it about grouping high school girls into teams consisting of various constellations of anime archetypes and boob sizes such that any otaku can find a group that suits his tastes? 'Cause if it's about tanks, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I have a friend watching it and he says it's Strike Witches but with tanks.
Kyanbu, Sword Art Online starts out well and then all sorts of stupid shit start happening. |

Speaking of, the movie's out on home audio-visual discs. I haven't watched it yet, and I'm not sure why I want to watch it given what the show was (power of friendship+underwear), but it's there.

You can make all kinds of stupid crap very entertaining with the power of Friendship. |

While I do appreciate Power of Friendship in general, it was used pretty lazily in Strike Witches. No, let me be more specific. It was used lazily in regards to Yoshika, in that she wasn't, like, helping her friend do a thing because they're friends (best example, everything Sanya and Eila did together) she just got a powerup whenever she appealed to the powers of MAMORITAI! It's like the difference between winning a fight with a clever strategy versus winning with a bigger beam, or adding conflict to a story through something other than a fist fight versus .
Like, because some of the 501st were using Power of Friendship in actual, interesting, not-just-straight-powerup-because-FREINDSHIP ways, it makes Miyafuji doing so and saving the day more disappointing. But no I haven't watched Ben-To.

Apparently a new JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series started. Starts from the very very beginning. Friend of mine told me about it and according to him it is quite fabulous. There's been a defined lack of fabulousity in animation lately and none does fabulous better than JoJo!
