Making it happen.

Yeah. For example, in MY comic (I know it's not very good. It's more of a thing for me to practice spriting than to make funny stuff), I had to rip every single Hawk sprite (Ripping Hawk sprites is hell to do. There's always SOMETHING that gets in my way) I have (There's only 4 Hawk sprites, not counting the one you see when you go to the in-game menu). And I had to create a whole bunch of sprites for the Lufia II cast... their sprites are next to useless, half the time.

I feel free

Okay, I've finally got a script written. The story for those who have played Neverwinter, is about two warriors who fail the test to get accepted to Neverwinter's Training Academy, and the horrors they go through during the horrors of the REAL Neverwinter campaign story. I recoloured the sprites again, and gave my friend Davis' sprite a cigarette, since in real life he's always smoking, and we think it's hilarious. I'm trying to stay original, but I have this sinking feeling that it won't be as funny to other people as it will to my friiends.

Personalities
I think it will be funny for everyone if you let the people understand the personalities of each character.
You know it because they are your friends, and you found in them/you something funny. Transmit it to the reader. I'm trying my own comic but not with sprites. I'm doing it with some sort of a realistic looking face, and the bodies made of sticks. The look is not so good, but is interesting when you find the way making your characters express themselves. I hope this would be useful |
