When ed slapped the ground notice what he was standing on. A big, huge, stone temple.
Notice what his giant statue was made from. Not solid smooth stone, but from square jagged stone as if it was just put together. Ed turned parts of the temple itself into the statue also to make it larger. Also Gato, in the first episoad what they saw of there mom was this: It was very blurred vision (colda been fog) and it started clearing. It obviously wasn't human. Then it got clearer, an arm sticking out of a blob, leg to... a head on the floor.. and I think it was a heart or somethign beating. Then it just blacked out.

*has just looked over the first episode again* Dang, it doesn't give you a good picture in that one. Ah well, I guess it isn't a good gauge after all.
Later on in the series you get to see the whole thing clearly and it tries to talk and stuff. Very ugly, very creepy, and definitely something CN couldn't get away with showing.

if you want to know something about FMA you should ask those who have seen the whole serie (like me) or just watch it yourself.

now I dont mean to sound negative but that is the point. We merely wanna speculate and work with what we have. It also allows us to gauge how well things are explained as the story progresses.
And please dont promote blatently another anime on a thread dedicated to another. As I said dont wanna sound rude just saying how we are handling this and most threads
