FFX-2 had exactly one good point: Battle system. The battle system is probably the best of any numerical FF. It basically fails every other standard, but the battle system is top notch. I'm not going to sit and debate what a FF should be. The story was poor, the characters were mostly annoying, the music sounded like it was ripped from a porn movie (And a low budget one at that), and the overall "Charlie's Angels" feel came all too close to the mark, in that the characters were mostly overglorified sex symbols.
Let it be noted that I do not dislike this game. Like I said, the battle system was top notch, and that's what counts most with me. And as a guy, I hardly mind that the women were roughly as modest as the DoA women. However, just because I like aspects of the game doesn't make it good. All but the most diehard FF fans, or the most diehard fans of good gameplay, should steer clear. ..Not that anyone in this thread did that.

Why the HELL was this brought back?
Death Raven, firstly, YES you do need to be reading entire threads before posting. Secondly you need to not be posting in threads that have gone a month and a half without being posted in unless you actually have something to add. You added nothing. I don't care about thread necromancy if you, know, you actually DO have something to add to it, and making a new thread about the subject is out of the question for some reason... but don't resurrect a thread to say the same thing that has been said before on a topic that could have easily been re-made instead of bringing back a thread that's only 10 posts from limit.
