The End Bar 3: a klutz-up in the kitchen?

Nikita threw out her foot and caught on Kaze's leg, launching herself backwards and landing lightly on her feet, her hands glowing slightly. she suddenly seemed slightly more mature.

Nikoli let Kaze set him down, and then looked him in the eye. "You should be more careful with this," Nikoli said, handing Kaze back his Minigun from a small peice of no-space bag.

Nikose just smiled. "kids'll be kids."

[Ryu Kurai]

(OOC: Holy crap, he must have good hearing. Kard said that under his breath. Either that or Kard just has that much charisma.)

Kard gazed after Eversor, involutarily shivvering. "Man, some people are weird. Ah well, what was I talking about again?" He said to the huge group of children who had all sat down in front of him.

"Story!" The all shouted in unison.

"Alright, alright, Beil's and my story. Well, I have to warn you, there are a few sad parts, but most of it's pretty funny. Alright, Beil, if you could maybe come up here and sit next to me. Hey! I said no poking!" Kard shouted, as the children who had poked Beil before did so again. Beil moved over to a table, picked up a chair, and moved over next to Kard. "Now, let's see. Well, Beil and I are actually half-brothers. Our father is a big, big shadow dragon named Reskuxintus," Kard stretched out his arms and puffed up his chest, causing the children to laugh. "He took over the place where all the drow live a few years ago. But, we weren't raised with him. Our mothers raised both of us. My mother was a half-demoness from the Infernal plane. Now, you may have heard that demons are nasty and mean, and this is true for most of them, especially my mother. But when I was young she gave me a lute that was enchanted with the ability to cause people to fall asleep. But, I lost that old thing in a bet a long tme ago. When I was around fifteen, I came to a plane you might have been to, the matereal plane. There I met my father, and he wasn't any better than my mother. In fact he was worse. Now, I still had the lute, and my first duty was to put him to sleep for a day. Well, I played and played and played and played, but I couldn't get his eyelids to even blink."

"Now, on my home plane we have a competition that I excelled at from birth. It's a contest of drinking as much booze as you can get your hands on, thusly you come across so really potent stuff. Well, after playing the lute so long, we took a break to eat. When he wasn't looking however, I poured some of this," Kard produced a small vial from inside his pocket. The liquid inside of it was a bright red, with a dark red undulating around the vial. "Into his drink. Then after he drank it, he stumbled around for a bit, just try and imagine a dragon stumbling around. He knocked over a few pillars, maybe a tapestry or two, but he finally sat down on the floor and went to sleep. And this is what I heard: Rrrruggggiiihhh, hhhhrruuurrrrrggghhh." He said, immitating the sound of a snoring dragon. The kids laughed hysterically, and kard at last slipped the vial back into his pocket. "Then I started to travel to as many bars as I could visit all over the planes, spreading happiness and cheer. I did have a few good adventures in those days, but those are for another time. Who wants breakfast? I'll tell you Beil's story after breakfast." The children grumbled somewhat, until finally a young boy closer to Kard stood up and pointed at Beil, giving Kard a frustrated glare.

"Why can't he tell us?"

The other children began arguing this as well, and Beil simply gave Kard a knowing look. Kard had a slightly saddened expression on his face that almost never graced it, one that veiled an even deeper sadness. "Well, I'll tell you after we get breakfast, OK? Come on, let's go see what the kitchen has for us." The children all went along with it, assured of a story after their meal. Kard gave Beil another sad look and sighed. "I suppose I should probably hold back some of the worse details."

OOC: Eversor has the ability to unleash huge amounts of energy and control it however he wishes, making him one bad-ass mother trucker. This also gives him the ability to manipulate sound energy as well as light and kinetic energy.

Eversor smiles hugely at Nikose, "So that's what those things were for? No wonder we could never get them to take them off. That was a good story Kard, I'll start schlepping out breakfast." He sets the young girl on his back onto the floor and heads into the kitchen. Just then, Elise walks down the steps, spots the twins and picks both of them up, one in either hand, and sniffs them as a mother wolf would her cubs. "Baths now," she states in a tone that brooks no arguement. She sets them down and they hurry up the stairs to wherever it is the huge company of children were staying to quickly bathe themselves. Elise then turns and bellows across the common room "ALL CHILDREN IN THIS COMMON ROOM NEED TO BATHE. YOU HAVE UNTL THE COUNT OF TEN TO GET UP THOSE STEPS." And believe you me those children were up thsoe stairs faster than you could say "bath". She turns back to Kaze and smiles prettily, "I'm Elise, it's a pleasure to meet you." She embraces him lightly and hurries back up the steps after the chldren with a shout somewhat to the extent of "I YOU AREN'T IN THOSE TUBS BY THE TIME I GET UP THERE YOU'RE ALL GOING TO GET A GOOD...". Eversor, hearing the yelling, pops his head out the door and, noticing Kaze's slightly confused expression, walks over towards him. "Elise is like that with everyone. To her we are all her family, needless to say her idea of "kin" is somewhat odd but it makes you feel good to know that there's at least one person out there who cares about you." at this he smiles self depreciatingly "Listen to me, I sound like a hippy. Well, I'm off to finish making breakfast, any requests?"

Kard laughed as the kids went up the steps. "Man, reminds me of when I was a kid." As Eversor asked for breakfast requests, Kard laughed again. "man, I may actually want to come back here some time. If you know what a demon eats for breakfast and a dragon eats for lunch!" He paused for a moment, looking over the bar. "Because then you'd know what I absolutely refuse to eat! Make me an omlette that's filled with lots of different peppers and some cheese, and make sure the peppers are spicy enough to wake the dead." he turned to Beil quickly, as the half-blue made a simple gesture of two fingers with the ends of the fingers firmly on the table, and then flipped his hand over and let his hand rise with the fingers extended. "Two eggs sunny side up for my buddy, if you know how to fix them, that is." He put his arms back behind his head, stretching and yawning to reveal long fangs, then smacking his lips tiredly a few times. "Hey, Beil, pick-me-up?" He said to the shorter man, who simply gave him a look that said Later. "Fine, but I really do want you to do it if I go to sleep, alright?" Kard said, Beil sighing and assuring him silently that this would be so.

OOC:Yay Nikose didn't have my characters executed in my abcence.

IC:The two of them really needed to get the hell out of here or thier dates would be clawing them out like Niall's and asking an unncecisary amount of questions about those kids. They simply lifted up and moved to the door without a word but both smiling. They weren't sure how to get here but thier next dates would definitly be with them at that time.

OOC: Next dude to be intro'ed Fuin the Celestial Demon and after that a date with the Sincair brothers.

'Damn, im tired.. I need to rest...' Naharu thought as he slowly walked to a chair in a dark corner of the tavern and sat down. Just a short while after he appeared to have fallen in deep sleep.

Eversor walks out of the kitchen carrying a gigantic cauldron of porridge and sets it in the middle of the room. He starts pulling tables near it so the kids don't have to wait too long to get their food. He heads back into the kitchen and the next time he walks out he carrys Kard's omelette and Beils eggs to them.

[Ryu Kurai]

Kard lift his knife and suceeded in cutting the omlette into perfect little squares. He looked over at beil's eggs, to dicover that he had already suceeded in eating an etire egg after slicing it up vertically. He got a frustrated look on his face and quickly devoured the omlette, not noticing that it felt as though the inside of his mouth felt like it had just had napalm stuck into it, partially because he wasn't paying attention to how it tasted in a flurry of eating in an attempt to beat Beil, and partially because Beil knew this would happen and had put a damper on what Kard was tasting. Kard succeeded in stuffing the entire thing in his mouth before Beil got to his last bit of egg. "Hrpah!" he said, standing up and pointing at Beil triumphantly. Beil then released his hold on the pure spicyness entering Kard's tongue and Kard coughed, his eyes teared up, and he grabbed at the bar for support. "Wphatr!" he shouted stumbling towards Eversor.

Eversor glances over at Kard, laughs, and tosses him the pitcher of water sitting on the bar.

Suddenly as if a this guy had no notice of how early it was in came a small man with Ravenblack hair and pitch black feathered wings. He had a pale skin color to him and a cheerful disposition around him. He wore a long singular white robe that covered him in full though he wore nothing underneath, "Good morning my dear comrads!" he moved down to the man named Eversor and placed a gold piece upon the table, "Breakfast is now time friend, may I have a omlette made with 20 egges and as much cheese and sausage as you can stuff in there." in case he needed more money he pulled up a pouch from the pucket of the cloak, "And a pint of spiced whine as well."
