Not true there's Agrahjag(sp?), Krickitt One, Arthur's relationship with Fenchurch, Arthur dealing with the tabloids for directions to Wonko, Marvin's final scene, the cute little ending to the 4th book, and I kinda like Colin from the 5th book.

I didn't really read this whole topic, only the first page, and I saw a lot of compliments.

I'll cut it for length, but I can just say that I don't think they're going to do any more of the books. The whole point of this was to go "Hey, time for a new Hitchiker's!" I don't think they'll continue the series considering how they put it together. It made a good movie, but it would make it tough, to say the LEAST, to make a movie out of the heavily changed original plot.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. Mostly due to the fact that they've recently created a third chapter of the radio series without Douglas. So even with its diversion from the original plot, I think that a sequel could be made..

I'm not going to go so far as to say that it'll be any good, but honestly it might be better than the first movie, which borrowed a bit too heavily from the books, but didn't do much that was entertainly new.

That lack of 'anything entertainingly new' was what people hated the movie for. Seeing hitchikers was like a girlfriend going out of town for a few weeks, then coming back with her hair dyed and a bit more of a wild side. Same feel, but there's that awareness of exploration that makes it great. that's why I liked it.

and ( to the second+ movies,) touche' to say the least, but you don't need to apologize when you think it's possible and I don't, man.
