AH! I forgot, i'm not sure if this was a game change, but i was unable to perform any Ex-Traps this time.

As in: Fill your EX Meter, get closer so the opponent hits you, as soon as hi hits you, go into Ex mode to break his combo and stun him for a second, at that time, go for an HP attack and Finnisih it of.

I could not Pull this with 012. Maybe wrong timing? but i did it all the time in Dissidia... When i tried on 012 i was able to break the enemy combo, but as the enemy got stunned so did i! And the Ex meter got Flushed down to empty right on the spot.

EXE block has been removed in order to liven up the game. essentually Square thought that people where abusing the EXE block to much.

Yeah, EX-guard has been placed with a feature called EX-revenge, which blows your whole gauge in order to slow down your opponent for a few seconds. It's bullshit in it's own way, but still far less broken than just being able to immediately turn around and pull off an HP attack into an EX burst.

It slows down everything, sure, you interrupt, but landing an attack in there isn't exactly easy.

A match I just had vs Shantotto (as Kain) leads me to believe her Ex Mode benefit may have changed. It used to mean that she retained her Brave after an HP attack, but she landed an Ex Burst on me and her Brave went to zero after the attack that prompted it AND after the burst itself.

It makes sense, considering that they seem to be toning down Ex Mode's benefits in general, and it used to be that a successful HP attack in Ex Mode with at least half the opponent's health in damage was a guaranteed kill. I do wonder what it's been changed to (if at all), though.

Maybe they just made it zero before and after bursts?

We are aware that this is not a super deep in-depth serious tournament fighter. We were aware of that long before you posted it a hundred times.

From what I understand, they changed her EX-mode ability to just replenish her brave back to base level in one instantaneous go after hitting an HP attack instead of slowly building back up gradually like it would outside EX mode.

Prishe was already considered for the last game, but they did Shantotto instead. A lot of the characters they're adding were ones that didn't make the cut last time and a couple favorites, like Tifa and Gilgy.

Nobody can figure out where Laguna came from, though. Not that I'm complaining. I adore the guy. I just don't know if he has a real fan base.
