Not the last of the series, but it seems the team feels the fighting game thing is tapped out and will do something different if/when the next one gets started.

Frankly, I don't blame them. The sales figures are probably not good for the original and probably won't be much better for this one. On the other hand, it's good they're not throwing the baby out with the bath water.

I guess a lot of people are going to be disappointed with no new additions from 6 or 9.

Really, there were two extra character slots, so it's probably just a matter of no time to implement them. They don't seem to be worried about adding anyone through DLC, so they'll probably just sit.

The lack of Vivi or Quina disappoints, but they included Gilgamesh so that makes up for it.

But Desperado Chaos actually looks pretty sweet. His EX Burst is the stuff of nightmares, right at the end there.

I would've loved to see Beatrice in the game, but oh well.

Even though they probably won't do character DLC, they've said they plan to do stuff like themes and costumes. There are something like 3 songs per game available from the get-go, as well as 2 more songs per game in the PP store, but even with that in mind there's still a lot I haven't seen that I'd love to play around with.

The top 3 I can think of are Maybe I'm a Lion from FF8, Sword of Doubt from FF9 and Challenge from FF10. Any that you guys would appreciate seeing?
