Seeing we've had a bit of inactivity, I thought I should check.

Is it just that time of year of much outside interference, or should I use my vast and benevolent powers to advance the plot right away?

I was working and I have the last post anyway. I suppose I could add some reply-hooks to my post, if that'd help. It is a bit spammy at the moment.

Oh, its just I was planning to wait for a few more posts before I moved on to the boss fight and I was a little concerned that not many people seemed to be active. I thought I'd better check if it was just a bit of a hard spot to respond to. Just wanted to see the responses. You know, like "Gah?!", the complex operation of fishing that damn fish out of the delicious cake and, of course, the obvious ones.

I quite liked that post Phil. Cheesus, hee hee.

I blame people enjoying some time off.

As for myself, I've been busy taking care of some of my Marine Corps required training to I don't have to worry about them later in the year.

Maybe because he's demonstrated why death comes to even the strongest beings. I mean, I ain't screwing with him. He took out a squad of enemies in a single full-attack action (assuming that he has some kind of flurry-of-blows-esque sythe combat-style feat and that the last lamia was within a five-foot step).

Also, we lurve his wacky antics too much to directly attack him, that scamp.

Also, not that I can speak for Flare, but her response doesn't seem that off for an amoral snake fiend. The eggs weren't hers, they weren't her friends, and revenge is for suckers who have to prove their worth. So, "Eh, whatever, let's move on," seems pretty normal.
