Is it me or did they take Quistis Trepe, dress her in black, and give her four copies of the gun Rozalin uses in Disgaea 2?
That said, I might look it up. As for Dante's Inferno, it's looking to me like it does take more from GoW than DMC from what I'm seeing here. I mean, they said outright that it copied GoW's control scheme verbatim, and honestly, Dante of DMC spends more time in giant towers, castles, and post-apocalyptic ruins than he does within the burning pits of Hell.

I've just read the PSM3 article fully and can definately confirm it is a shameless rip off GoW. From the unique magical weapon he uses (deaths scythe, incidentally) to the control scheme, to the QTE-like grapple moves and huge monsters (whom you can ride, after killing their former riders with aforementioned QTEs), the whole thing is very GoW. Hell the guy even has his skin turned white with the ashes of his dead family, as if that wasn't a blatant enough of a clue as to what they're doing here.
And ok yeah, while it does look good from the screenshots and probably plays well enough, I can't honestly say I'd ever buy it. I'm definately sticking with Kratos.

I suppose I wouldn't mind it so much if they tried to make a horror game based on Dante's Inferno - like they should - instead of doing exactly what everyone laughed at the very idea of them doing.
I know I've said it before but christ, I object to this game on principle.

Well, Dante's Inferno does sound much more "Silent Hill" than "God of War" but i would be as bold as to come and say that, same as that, it shows what is the difference of a western and a eastern game concept
