Hey, Truce mentioned slow actions and I have questions about them.

When a Slow action actually "fires," does that take up the character's Standard action for that round? Or does the firing just happen and they're free to take a Standard action, like whacking something with a stick or starting up another Slow action? Seems like it should be the second one, since the other way would make casting two spells take five turns, but then again having a spell go off and then making an attack doesn't seem right, either. Actually, never mind, page 117 says it's the second one. Woo for doing spell damage and attack damage on the same round. That should be fun for the healers.

Regarding that matter: Would it be okay to for example make a graft that shuts down other grafts of equivalent value to instantly restore another one?

Say, kill the bionic eye to regain the strength bonus, all during an instant action.

1. Sure - you'll be able to use it as a slow action.

2. Because the Vehicle shared ability gets some options that simply creating things through synthesis would not give you. So, I'm not going to allow any mixing and matching.

I would allow you guys to share a vehicle on your character sheets though.

3. No. Even if you could cannibalize some of your grafts to fix others, it wouldn't be an instant action.

Is it too late to get in on this? I have an idea for something I'm trying to hammer out, but I'm only just now getting some time to look over the rulebook, so it might take a while. You know, like a few hours tops, anyway.

Worst case scenario I can get Krylo to summarize the important bits.

For now, I'll decide that after Arhra nobody else can join. Ten people is just the limit for two groups, and I don't want to deal with three.

I feel validated by this. ^^ A question about it though. Would I be able to sell my old "auto-repair" graft in that case when I have the rest of the cash to pay for it? Or would the repair graft be specific to that arm part and not repair the other grafts that get damaged?, Could I "upgrade" the auto-repair into that aforementioned repair graft for the extra cost it would take to make it 2? Could that upgrade thing also apply to the Bionic eye or arm in the future (both of which have stronger bonus and more expensive price to it.)

Just checking, but otherwise very happy.

Also, Do I have to roleplay my dragon companion as if it had the same stats as my dragoon or can I treat it as if it had a more vibrant personality and activeness? Was hoping that the dragon companion have a bit more life and spirit than its master currently has with 1 dex and 1 cha.

EDIT: If you accept POS and Arhra, we'll have 11 people. There was 8 at first, 4 per group. You said Teal would join group 1. One more person can fit in group 2 to make it 10 and the other would be left out if you choose to only have 10 total. (Unless you wanna opt to bump the number to 12 for 6 people a team or something.)

Each party will have 5 people. I will not be a starting party member.

My character has more important business that demands his attention at the start of the RP.

We have a wandering PC who could be a villian/ally or competitor! Awesome. Unless he joins the pick on the paladin crowd, then it sucks!

Teal drew attention to the fact I put 2.7m as a height when it should have been 1.7m. I adjusted it to 1.7m, unless you don't want me to do that and leave me as a tall huge person.

Now I'm waiting to see what Arhra will become. Am betting that he's going to choose one of the classes that hasn't been chosen yet... Although the choices are starting to get a little limited if that's the case... Black Mage, Dark Knight, Fighter, Monk, Ninja, Samurai.

(Would also be neat if we got a Galka or Elvvan to round up some of the races just like POS did with choosing Moogle.)

All the same, this should be promising. ^^
