Pretty classic insanity here...
So my sister left home. And now so have I. So my dad's got ape-shit insane with all his free time. He's sold all of the family's cars and bought new ones. For kids included. Three years ago the family was rocking my Civic type-R, my mom's Ford Escape, my dad's 1995 Ford Ranger and my dad's 2005 Mercedes C230. Now, my mom drives a Mercedes B200T, my dad has a Land Rover LR2 and a Mercedes SL500 AMG, while my sister is driving a Jeep Patriot. I'm still in the old civic, but the promise is that it's getting replaced this summer. This doesn't seem that crazy, but this was the normal component. He bought a giant novelty spoon. A giant, properly proportioned novelty spoon. At 5 feet high, it's taller than my mom. On the plus side, if the jolly green giant comes around for porridge, we're set.
