The scouter could be effected that way, yes. Usually trainers stand far enough away from their deployed Pok�mon to avoid that effect.

It's not just electric types, either. Depending on environmental temperature, deploying a fire or ice type Pok�mon may cause a radical temperature change and fog up the lens temporarily. But you should be okay against all these problems by keeping your distance.

As for Earthquake, yeah it's gonna do some stuff. Because Pok�mon are so powerful in Honmyr, a lot of places have been specially reinforced against all kinds of damage, but no place is indestructible.

Just got back from work. Lemme catch up. Also, here's some additional information that I just thought up and decided to immediately implement:

Certain environments and temperatures will have an affect on a Pok�mon or Pok�brid's morale, thereby increasing or decreasing their fighting ability or affecting other things, like whether a Pok�mon will follow orders or even leave the Pok�ball to begin with.

For example, water and flying types won't exactly feel comfortable fighting in a thunderstorm (unless they're also electric types like Lanturn and Zapdos, respectively). Needless to say, this environment/morale connection is based on a Pok�mon's individual weaknesses. Probably out of all Pok�mon types, you'll want to be careful around Grass types. Weak against fire, weak against ice, and weak against flying type attacks (like wind), that type will need a rather tightly controlled environment. You can affect the environment by using those types of attacks. This is a good way to cripple Shannon the Leafeon trainer. Lowering a Pok�mon's morale is a smart way to lower their all-around fighting ability even without using debuffs.

Where this applies immediately is inside that subway tunnel. Heatran is a powerful fire type, and chances are that the immediate area is a sauna by this point. Fire, Water, Rock and Dragon types should feel right at home but your Grass, Ice, Bug and Steel types will be a little nervous about venturing farther to say the least. Rayleen will be assisting the subway team by repeating some of what this post just explained and by offering her Slayer potential.

EDIT: And just to let everyone know how retarded I am, a correction. Dormond is a Mawile Pok�brid, not a Pok�mon. Apologies for the stupidity on my behalf.

Argh. None of the tunnel team seem to be online. Would it be feasible to continue for now, just write "After the tunnel team had left the van..." and then go on with the other part of the assault? They shouldn't have too much trouble catching up, since I'm guessing the battle out front will take quite a while.

Also, isn't the rule that pokebrids don't have weaknesses? As such, wouldn't the environment be ineffective against them?
This might also prompt whomever plays Isaac to change their character's ability.

Also also, for slayers, are heavy weapons more powerfull than medium weapons, more powerfull than light weapons?

I thought about giving Tyranitar Sandstorm for a while (assuming that would make electric types uncomfortable), but then I remembered he already has Sand Stream.
