true, but I'm an abyssal so wounds mean nothing is the better bet. beside since I have no combat skills it makes more sense to go with melee.

I also want to be clear, I am not asking if a perfect defense is needed, I am asking if starting with one is needed. At the very least would Dread Lord's Demeanor allow me to stay in the back lines while others fight?

for those that dont know, that charm forces anyone that attacks me to spend a willpower. Its essence three but will definitely be one of my first purchases when I get there

WMN also requires essence 3. I don't know why you wouldn't want flickering wisp technique anyway, it's a teleport dodge. If you can teleport out of range of a flurry, it's as good as a leaping dodge combo. They can follow you if their dex is equal or greater than your dodge but still won't get more than two attacks.

Depends. Perfects initially? Probably not. Mandatory for fighting other exalts with the slightest combat capability? Yes. I wouldn't really worry about being assassinated, since well a perfect won't save you there unless you have a paranoia combo, which /is/ a bit of an investment. Unless it's a resistance perfect because they're step 7 (or around there), but then you're vulnerable to bad touch, so well...

cause its spectral and spending a willpower every action I want to dodge is costly

On an unrelated note, are you gonna have zombies? cause I'm going to take that charm to maintain them. Its a prereq for my anti-crippling charms

Nawh, Zombies aren't very stealthy.

Pretty sure WMN is spectral too. The only non-spectral PD IIRC in that book is the insanely broken Void Avatar Prana.

in 2e WMN is not spectral. though one reason I asked about errata is they removed spectral from perfect parry and dodge, also pretty sure VAP was wiped from canon. Which I think was abit much, could have been nerfed and still been functional
