I imagine they viewed the glitch as a cheat the character had access too. I mean wasn't crouch-jumping in the half-life engine originally a glitch or cart boosters in minecraft? Probably from an interface angle the players did have to do something to initiate her teleporting and figuring out moves through trial and error then spreading it through word of mouth used to be common in arcades. So to them it was probably viewed more as a code than something broken.
In any case, broken or not what arcade owner would dump a game thats making them money?
