How about we just master fusion, use that to generate electricity for pennies, and then power our (presumably more efficient and with better batteries) electric cars with it. That will save us a step.

I remember there was a water-fuelled car in Popular Science like 15 years ago but I'm presuming it was more like a prototype or just a theory or something.

The people pushing climate change are the scientists who continue to solicit government grants to produce more and more costly studies, the business people going after government loans to line their pockets with ill conceived "green businesses" (i.e. Solyndra), the leftist politicians who are using the "green agenda" to stay in power, and the poor nations of the world who are trying to leverage it to extort money from the developed nations. Yes, it certainly IS all about money and power.

A real scientist would tell you that our huge recorded history of 100 years is too small a sample to deduce anything. Actual data shows the earth has cooled in the past decade. But here come the new EPA initiatives costing us jobs and money. And China and other countries will not adopt these crazy rules. ABC and NBC every night hype the current weather as caused by global warming. The truth is the volcanoes cause more pollution than our cars.

I could go further in on this, and Snake could probably back me up on this, on how so many on the right are so far indoctrinated that they cannot accept things that contradict, but that is a conversation for another time. I will just say I am happy to have not been part of society growing up.
