OOC: Yay, I'm the only good guy left! *dances* By the way, Charcion ish not a Knitght Commander x.x
BiC:Charcion looked over his shoulder in surprise at the newly dead Wind clutching his wrist, right below Zar'roc. "I'm disgusted you let him take you so easy" he muttered to himself as he turned. He shook Wind's hand off his wrist and placed his hands on either side of his helm and removed it, letting it fall to the ground. He took off his cape and let it too, fall to the ground. Then he removed his breastplate, leaving him with only his leggings and lower torso armor left, his hair flowing behind him. He sheathed Bloodbringer and held Zar'roc in front of him, his emerald eyes gleaming through old age. "Now all I see are the eyes of a demon...." he muttered, taking a defensive stance. "Shall we?" he asked.

OOC: My mistake. Btw, how is he a major if he has no army?
Nezurahl is still drained but he no longer teteers on the brink of death after drinking the life of some of his enemies. His reserves of magic are dangerously low however and while buoyed up by stolen life he is still weak. His voice still hoarse he orders a part of the Ebon Guard to retreat with him back to the castle. There he would be able to rest and fully renew himself. The wights whose steeds had been slain form up around him, locking shields together to form a nigh-impenetrable wall of steel with the necromancer at the center. They begin their return to the castle, cutting down any who stand in their path. Last edited by Arhra; 08-15-2004 at 06:02 AM. |

OOC: sorry, i was really busy last night.
BIC: Wind felt her soul binding forever more into her physical body, locking her mind and soul within an unbreakable gheas. Suddenly, the blackness of her eyes left her, and her sneer fell from her lips. Yet the necromancer's power bound her to him. Nezurahl turns towards her with a command: "Kill him. Quickly." Turning grey, dead eyes towards Charcion, she smiled sadly. "I'm sorry." She leapt forward, her powerful legs driving her newly dead body forward, as she readied to kill a man she had allied with.

OOC: Charcion HAD an army which he was Major of. They fought a great battle and only 4 or so survived.
BiC:Charcion watched Wind jump into the air, with the grace of which she still had when she was alive. He rolled out of the way as she landed where he was just awhile ago. As he got up he turned and swung with both hands clasping Zar'roc's hilt, toward her stomach. A mile away in the Warrioth's Glade, Notikas stood, sensing the great battle ending, and Charcion fighting off a force that had been full of life one moment, and cold and grimy the next. He opened his eyes and tried to decide what to do. OOC: Mind if I stick Notikas in there? I'm the bloody only good guy vs a Necromancer, a super undead shapeshifter, and a whole crap load of super powered Wights

OOC: AND THE UNDEFEATABLE FLAMING HEAD
IC: Scotty, the only survivor of the massacre grabbed a crossbow. It was not just any crossbow it was Douglas' "I will avenge my captain" cried Scotty as he jumped down into the room and began firing like a madman on crank. As he just "sprayed and prayed" a dismounted wight attacked him from behind, destroying his spine. Scotty clumped to the floor and moaned one last sentence "die you unholy spawn of goblin excrements" and he fired the last bolt in his pack into the back head of the necromancer. OOC:i felt sorry for obsolete and decided to give some support. Besides Scottys pissed at the lack of help provided |

OOC: The forces of good don't win every fight you know. Besides, Nezurahl is currently making his getaway with most of the Ebon Guard protecting him. The wight's aren't really that super powerful, they are just elite undead warriors with dread blades who are nigh impossible to kill short of total destruction of their body or cutting their heart out (which is tricky in a pitched battle). They don't get up again that fast, they lie still for several moments before stirring and clambering to their feet. Nastier wounds would take longer of course.
OOC: I should say a bit about the necromancy. If Nezurahl dies then almost all of the weaker undead would be destroyed as the spells that bind them decay. The greater undead (currently only Wind and the Ebon Guard) would survive but would be uncontrolled and may be weakened. The wights for example would be far easier to kill permanently. As the bolt nears Nezurahl, one of the Ebon Guard moves and takes the bolt in its shield. The necromancer turns to see the dying dwarf but chooses not to waste some of his precious resevoir of magic upon him. Discomforted by the reminder of how vulnerable he is, he grasps an amulet around his neck, simply a fine gold chain with a crimson ruby set into it as a pendent, and smiles slightly when he senses the spells wrought in it. He breathes heavily and leans on his staff as he and his escort grow ever closer to the castle, even that slight exertion wearying him. Last edited by Arhra; 08-16-2004 at 05:41 AM. |

OOC: If this battle rpg ever progresses into a story, I’ll let you know that I plan Wind to be a GOOD undead.
sorry for not posting for so damned long. My life caught up with me, and there was great suffering. BIC: With the agility of a lithe panther, Wind twisted out of the sword’s reach. In one lightning quick movement, her hand slapped down on the glinting blade, gripping it with surprising strength. The sharp edges cut deeply into her newly dead flesh, but she was oblivious. She was bound, bound forever to carry out the wishes of Nezurahl. A little bit of blood won’t matter. With a snake-like twist, she slipped under Charcion’s guard to deal a blow with her fist. Not before the heel of the man’s palm struck her square in the jaw. She flew backwards a few steps before regaining her footing. No pain. But still the gheas commanded her. She launched herself again at Charcion.

OOC: Ugh, kill Charcion off if you want, if this turns into story-style, I'm bringing in Notikas though.... Just give him a damned honorable death.
BiC: This time though, Charcion did not dodge. As a result, both were launched onto the ground and rolled. As they stopped, Charcion brought his feet up, placed them on her stomach, rolled head first, and kicked with all his might, sending her flying across the floor. She stopped and held up her hands as Zar'roc came flying down. It cut to the bone, but did not sever. Charcion looked over her hands to her face and growled down at her, "By the blade I live, by the blade you die..." and pressed harder. OOC: And by the way, how the hell am I gonna kill Nezurahl when I'm tied up with Wind? and Rhiya, just so you know, Charcion may not be human, but he can still tire, and he can still die, use that to your advantige, and see if you can give him an honorable death. He IS based off one of my Characters in Nexon's Dark Ages

OOC: Ah, yes. That's always been the problem with wizards. All you need to do to kill htem is deliver a few feet of steel to the sternum. Getting it there is the problem. I have absolutely no problem with anyone killing Nezurahl as long as they do it properly. See if you can come up with something interesting.
Nezurahl looks back, sitll leaning on his staff for support, and smiles slightly. Raising that seer had proven to be an excellent decision. She was distracting the greatest threat to him and seemed to be winning. The castle was very close. Soon he'd be safe and be able to rest and heal. Then he would be able to scour these accursed knights from the face of the earth. |

OOC: Charcion will die honorably, but not in this post
BIC: No pain registered in her bound mind. Only the dull gheas that pulsed and pushed her to fulfill Nezurahl's command. There was nothing for her here. Yet, still, she could not give up. Not untill she had completed the necromancer's wish. Her uninjured, non-defending hand snaked upwards, placing a grip on the glinting blade. Zar'roc's sharp edges cut again into her fingers, spilling bright blood. Somehow, being newly ressurected meant fresh blood that still coursed in her veins. Slowly, with titan strength, Wind prised the blade off her arm. Her unexpectant leg sweep caught him off guard. He was thrown onto the ground, and his grip on the sword loosened. Wind changed. Then and there, her body lost its flesh and blood, the physical trait melting off her bones as she transformed. A skeletal Sabre-tooth gnashed her teeth in front of him. The undead Shapeshifter.
