Wow. What an ending. Anyhoo, I have a question. This was my first mafia game evars and I'm wondering if there was anything specific in my playing that caused the Mafia and Cult to both target me?

(See, I'm signing up for The Space Pope's game and I'm wondering if there's anything I need to change about the way I play.)

I personally picked you because you seemed to be able to hold your own intelligently against others and state your opinions well. Basically, you seemed like you wouldn't be lynched.

Oh, and to add, though I did quit, the cult thing would've won had I not just been tired of this thread. Oddly, Daisuke and Crazyben were on today and could've voted in our stead before deadline, giving us the 7 votes along with Demonlink. We would've won, heh. Could've, would've, should've, didn't want to, I suppose.

Nikose would have to roleclaim what he really was for Fenris to back him up.

As for you Elbodo-the mafia thought along the same lines as Mesden, and as we were searching for the PO...we went after you instead of a known townie.

The cult wouldn't have won. There was only a vague deadline, and demolink would have switched back to the town, since he thought the town was doomed due to Twid (Who changed back).

Also, damn you Ecurt. Killing me just before the best part.

That's minor speculation. At the time, given all thing, we would've won with that.

Honestly, I blame Ecurt. He killed Elbodo and had he not, we would've won that way without all this fiasco.

I also blame Arhra.

And Ecurt again for killing KP.

Ok, that plan had a 1 in 10 bajillion chance of working, but we still could have done it.

Heh, it's true.

I did have a plan that could give the mafia a chance to win, though it had its roots in SS' first.

Simply put, it relied on lynching someone, killing someone, me convincing Mesden to induct someone other than CrazyBen or Steal Shadow, lynching another person, having Mesden induct someone other than CrazyBen or Steal Shadow again, then killing a cult that night.

Then we the mafiates would all vote for Mesden, using the town's resentment against her to join us in our vote (and yeah, there would be resentment), then kill another cult at night. At that point, there would be four cultists, two mafiates, and three townies, with me as one of the cultists siding with the mafia essentially dividing all sides equally.

From there...well, it would have either been a tie for the cult and town, or a win for the mafia, depending on how people acted. But...really, it would have just been an amazing move by the mafia, and my priority was always my fellow mafiates after all.

I admit I was quite surprised when I get a message from Sithdarth about Mesden's plan. I quickly realised it would allow me to decide who wins (barring the unforeseeable). I decided that staying true to my side was the more important.

Crazy how everything's been since then. Well, at the very least it will be something quite memorable.
