Easier to make a female clone than a male one. First because you can just double the X chromosome, but also because the only thing to determine male from female on the Y chromosome is a single gene on the literal very tip. If that gets knocked off, instant female.

Funny how nature decided to put an entire half of a species on one Boolean variable first thing in the code. :J
