Saw the latest episode. It's not half as cute as the previous one, thankfullyso my brain hasn't turned to a pile of squeeing mush just by thinking about it. It also got a lot of chuckles out of me, for what that's worth.

Would rather not spoil anything, but I have to say: I love Spike as a villain, and now I regret shaving my mustache off last week. I wanted to twirl it along with him!

At first I was a little surprised they managed to get the whole "the punch is spiked" joke past the censors, but then I remembered some of the stuff Animaniacs used to pull. Good to see shows starting to do that again.

I think that was after the makers realized how wide a demigraphic watches the show, so they might've been starting to add in multi-layered jokes.

More like he either, A) was forced to move away and live in a cave somewhere because he's too large/too dangerous to be allowed to continue living in Equestria, or B) he is several hundred years old in that pic and all of his friends are long dead.

The really horrible part is that both of those things will happen in this universe at some point, no matter how much Friendship and Magic you throw at it.

It depends on how long-lived normal ponies are. Celestia's a kiloganerian, but a lot of that may be due to her god-powers.

Also: he could just have a really huge house built or something, if he wanted to stay within Ponyville proper. Then again, as a full-grown dragon, he wouldn't have a whole lot to fear from the Everfree Forest, so he could find another cave within it. It's not that far from town.
