I...
What the hell, world? Edit: Seriously, I think you're looking for MUGEN, not Dissidia. Last edited by Ryong; 03-31-2011 at 09:10 PM. |

Yeah... It's just a big FF crossover. Not a Squeenix crossover. They do that enough in the Mana series.

Honestly I the Dissida system would be fantastic if they upgraded to a console increased the graphics and did a ton of other things. I would pay for a HD Kefka to be throwing fireballs around and it would make Matchmaking SO much easier.

I mean, I like the basic concept in how it's designed around the handheld platform, as the pokemonesque aspects of leveling and customizing your characters would be difficult to pull off on a console unless they either opted to scrap local multiplayer (further hamstringing what little tournament scene this game is able to muster already) or came up with a system to pit one save file against another save file on the same console (a convoluted solution at best, I'd imagine). On a related note, if any of you are interested in setting up Xlink Kai and maybe setting up our own little NPF Dissidia clique over there, I'd certainly be into it.

Speaking as a person who has played Secret, Sword, Children, SD3, and Final Fantasy Adventure: what crossovers?

If I had any idea how Xlink Kai worked I'd definitely be into that. I'll look into it sometime.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that if they continue Dissidia, the next entry won't be the same kind of fighting game style they've been doing. Not sure what they meant in that case, but I think that if they've noticed the kind of cash cow an open FF-crossover has the potential to be, then they'd probably be more than willing to kick it over to consoles once they make the genre switch. Who knows, maybe they'll finally man up and let in some of the non-mainseries characters, too. And not just like, Adam Jensen and Rico Rodriguez. I'm talking about goddamn Ramza here. Why no Ramza love, Squenix? Why no Ramza love? |

If all my money weren't currently reserved for family medical expenses for the foreseeable future, I'd drop 300 bucks on a PS3 right now just to get some semi-reliable online play for this game. Quote:

And anyway, TA2 is cooler. Even if I love my generics more than I do my main characters. |
