Eh, never mind. It appears carp are no longer as demonic as they used to be.

Zombie and skeletal Carp will still walk around freely on land, requiring no water to live, and should a dwarf near, they will tear out bit after meaty bit. What I was proposing was something so horrible the people of the Bay12 forums would smite me for it if it worked.
In fact... Loyal, go take this idea to them and wave it around somewhere, then tell us their reactions to it, along with the results of their inevitable experiments. Don't lie, I know you have an account there.

If I do show up in DwarfFort, I want to be either setting things on fire or pissing off elves. Preferably both, but eh.

Making it happen.

Things do not get set on fire by merely walking into lava. FIREIMMUNE certainly does not bestow that property. It's mostly a matter of relative temperature between the would-be-immolated creature or object and its surrounding environment. I imagine FIREIMMUNE prevents this immolation first and foremost, though I have no idea how it affects a creature's ability to survive in excess heat.

The composition of this one is really great, Mac. I really like what you did visually.

Great. Though I don't quite know you guys well enough to get a good start. So it might be a week before I have a NP strip to contribute.
