Pure joy

So how do we feel about shooting couples who wander away from the crowd in the back, purely from a strategy-in-times-of-war point of view?

I'm trying to avoid taking sides, but there is probably a good chance that they feared the couple would raise an alarm to the prisoner breakout.

"Wrong-eye"? Good god Xykon, that's... that's... I wanna say magnificent, but it feels so cliche these days. Anyway, that has *got* to hurt.
And both sides are jerks. They just also happen to have justifiable reasons for what they do. Horray, conflict!

The levels of manipulation going on in that little jab are absurd. If there were doubts about Xykon's role as mastermind before, let them be laid to rest with that.

Is it because... Redcloak's mistake cost him his eye, and also... because... it is the left eye? Not the right eye? He's not looking through his right eye, he's looking through his wrong? Eye? Man I don't know.

Have you read Start of Darkness?
If you have, then you will really appreciate the implication of "Right-Eye", and you'll know what that means to Redcloak. Especially in the context of him refusing to have goblin corpses Animated instead of Raised or buried. |

So we are clear

perhaps, but while its fine to referance another work, having the entire meaning of something being reliant on it is a bad idea. Should not assume everyone is familar with it.

Makes sense. Their escape relied on secrecy, and that in turn involved making sure nobody raised the alarm. Archery was a safe and silent way of achieving that. And could somebody explain "wrong-eye"? I haven't found any info elsewhere (admittedly, I only did one google search, but that still counts), but I'd like to be able to appreciate Xykon's awesomeness. Also, Redcloak is steadily rising as one of the more sympathetic characters. I find myself rooting for him. |

I'm failing to see that. It's a cut to Redcloak and rather personal. Just like when he said at the beginning of the Azure City battle "This one is for you, mom". It seems to be more a bonus if you know what's going on in RC's head than something that detracts from the overall story. Geminex, read Locke's post. That's where the answer lies.
