It's not a two-parter and there's no cliffhanger ending. It's pretty much par for the course as far as the rest of season one is concerned (save for the pilot episodes).

That said, this episode is... well, just watch it.

Ha ha ha holy shit.

Aside from the Fluttershy moments, I actually didn't enjoy this episode very much, although I'm not really sure why.

By "didn't enjoy" I mean it wasn't the usual experience not unlike getting cocaine injected into my eyeballs.
