Well, we're still here trying this again. Lets see if we can't root this out and finally finish this one out.
Iowacje: Glad your back in full force. How do you respond to the claims of your possible cult status? I've seen plenty of accusations thrown at you about this and you have not once tried to defend yourself. I would like to hear your side, or something. Not hearing anything in a form of self-defense from you is beginning to make me think these claims have merit, and quite a lot at that. Arhra: An admitted secret role of unknown powers that has something to do with "retaliation" on night-killings. This is a tricky one here. I'm really not too sure what to think of him. As we continue I'm beginning to think that you are the threat that is still keeping us here, but I want to believe that you're a townie with a venegance role meant to balance out KP's secret role. I don't know what to do right now, so I'm going to hold for a moment, see some more input from others, then make my decision. CRAZY THEORY ALERT! Does anyone else find it funny that Darthmauler64's mafiate character fled before he was lynched, and now we are having problems with an unknown threat? I've found something funny with that situation ever since he was "dealt with". I'm really beginning to think that he may have came back by "possessing" someone else's character (I've never had any experience in SoL related material, so I may be way off here). The lack of a Mafia kill since Rhyia was lynched can be a tactic where the returned Mafiate is allowed to choose/can only kill at certain times. Obviously someone would want to not kill for the Mafia over the last night or two, since it would give their presence away, but if we lynch another innocent, then the Mafiate could kill tonight and win. Alright, I admit that whole theory is based on crazy assumptions, but its just how I pieced together that "failed lynching" into something that could be holding us back. So feel free to disregard all that crap, but my earlier words are still my main focus. |

It isn't, Mesden has stated on numerous, NUMEROUS occasions that Darthmauler64 is out of the game. Period.
No ifs ands or buts, he is not here, he is dead, dead dead dead dead dead. He is not here, wipe him from your mind, he is not cuasing the delay in the game.

Let me explain this a bit. DarthMauler's character has super precise control over air. Now, you are lynching people. How the HELL would you lynch someone who could just FLOAT when you drop him. Much less use a well precisioned air blade to cut it. He was LYNCHED. Alright? He's gone. I don't want this to turn into a BlackBelt situation.

I think I might as well announce I have never lied in this game. I am, as I have said, a town allied secret role. To prevent anyone trying to read any evasion in that, I'll clarify it by saying I am currently town allied. I most definately am not a threat to the town.
Can't really add anything else new until Iowa gives his defense, so I'll leave it at that. Hmm, so what Mesden is trying to tell is that Darthmauler has come back from the dead?! Undead mafia? Sweet zombie Jesus on a bicycle!

DarthMauler died off screen.
You see, to kill him we needed a death so violent and so offensive that our budget couldn't afford all the special effects. |

The way I look at it, people are recruited into the cult because of 4 things:
1. You are known to have skill in these games. 2. In general, throughout the forum community you are known to be a logical person. Because, as you know, a lot of this game deals with logic. 3. Friends. If your teammates are friends, the game tends to come easier. 4. Random. Leader closes eyes, and strums finger along players list. =/ In all fairness, I only qualify for the last one. Simply because I'm new to these games, and new to the forum in general. In terms of friends, I really only have 2 here. Look at those factors, and you see the chances that I am cult are slim. Ole Dude is also fairly new to the forums. I can't speak on behalf of him in terms of the friends he has, but meh. So that only leaves B_real and Arhra, for me. I'm going to stick with the suspicions I've had the whole game and Vote: Arhra.

Hmmm, I checked the details on the last few lynchings. Ecurt as the imposter was killing for a few nights and only did a non-kill action for the two nights before he was killed (including the night of his death). This suggests a time delay on Ecurt's ability to recruit cultists becoming active as CallMePrismatic was killed on the third night. I confirmed that there could be no more than five cultists given the timing and roles known.
Now, given that Newb acted to defend him saying that Ecurt investigated him. However inducting someone into the cult is strictly superior to both killing and to investigating. Occam's razor therefore suggests Newb was almost certainly lying. The big question is why did Newb lie? The most logical reasoning here is because Iowa is also a cultist and thus Newb wished to protect him in order to increase chances of a cult victory. Killing Rhiya also removes the threat of a night killing of the second cultist. There is also the possibility Newb said Ecurt investigated Iowa in order to pin suspicion on him. However, I believe this is much less likely. Additionally, it means we would have to strike pretty much at random to find this other cultist. The higher probablity of the cultist being Iowa makes me choose him. I should also point out that all cultists inducted by CMP are accounted for and were killed before Ecurt began using his aiblity. Therefore this remaining cultist must have been inducted by Ecurt. Thus any suspicions of players from before when Ecurt began use of his cult induction ability are irrelavent to whether they are a cultist or not. Only anything past post #629 (first night Ecurt didn't kill someone) can be taken as evidence of someone being a cultist.

I've got my mind split between the two. Both make good points, but one has to hang. So lets see if we chose correctly. |
