WOW. Those look fantastic, Loyal! I love the shading and the textures!! The folds in the clothing and the scales on Flare in particular are amazing. And the Nexus pic looks like it must've taken forever; the trees and grass are so detailed.

The grass, yes, and it wasn't till I got to the bottom right that I finally remembered that a forest probably shouldn't look like a lawnmower had recently passed through. But by then it was too late. D:

The trees, not so much. Those were surprisingly easy... just lots of mostly-parallel lines of varying value.

Meh, I hadn't noticed the length of the grass till you mentioned it. And actually, I would think the lack of sunlight due to the trees would probably mean shorter grass anyway. So it's totally accurate!

I think I was supposed to do less grass in general and more... thick foliage, and twigs and all that. Eh, what do I know. I haven't seen a proper forest in years.
