Because it is a giant multiheaded monster, I would assume the heads act at least somewhat independantly. Also, because it's 1 vs. 15, that makes it able to focus on everyone at once. So distracting it would be hard.

By the way, while in fire form, Flaris is completely impervious to physical damage and all forms of fire-based damage. It's quite hard to hit a flame! Non-fire-based magic can still hurt him though.

No. That's just you adding on things from a vague start. Your elemental form works like the Human Torch; A physical body encased in flames you can control. You can still be battered around.

So let me get this straight. You are completely made out of fire, can change shape, imervious to fire and mellee, and you are completely insane, with no backlash to your abilities whatsoever? Geeze, you're PyrosNine.

Now, I don't know about the others, but I feel that you are breaching a requirement. I looked over your character, but it says nothing about changing shape or being impervious to melee. Would you mind detailing your full two abilities so that I know what to expect of you, because your actions make my brain bounce.

Can the Human Torch change shape? You are a human shaped being wraped in flames, with control of flames and the ability to shoot out small blazes, although it tires you out and leaves you drained. If your oxygen gets cut off, by water or dirt or excess wind, you get extinguished and must build up pressure.

There, that's your elemental form. Wait till further levels for your upgrades.

Except... I've already been using shape-changing. It's not something I just thought up, it's something that's been established, without objection, in the RP thread. And I'm fairly sure it was decided no fire-control at this level, hence why someone else had to put out the snake fire.
The abilities he has, as established by previous actions in the RP are as follows:
Elemental knives: Can change his knives to any of the five elements. When in elemental form, can only change them to the same element as his form is made of, but they are somewhat more powerful than when in human form.
Elemental form: His body changes completely to the given element, the only one currently available is fire. When in fire form, he can change shape, though the only forms he has used so far apart from a human body formed of fire is a pillar of flames and a trail of fire along the ground. He can also move faster while in this form, and set things alight by touching them, although he has no control over the resulting blaze. The melee-impervious thing hasn't come up yet, but I thought it made sense as it had been established his body turns entirely to flame. As I said before, try hitting a flame.

Also, since Helio's assumed skills didn't work out to well, I better mention Mark's. I was planning on having his Barrier Gloves be able to move through the barrier they create, since otherwise the gloves would be stuck in place when ever activated.

Didn't think of that one. I'll use a cop-out and point out that he hasn't thrown any knives that haven't been flamed since he went into elemental form.

If the consensus is that my current abilities are somewhat on the high-powered end, I guess I could just not get anything new at the end of this level.

Pillar of fire I assumed was him extending the flame vertically from his body. Trail of fire was him throwing some flame around.

The physical presence thing is a must though. Having intangibility and shapeshifting allows you to pull any number of escape situations out of your ass. "Oh, that tentacle didn't hit me because I'm flame." "I'm dodging the magic shots by shapeshifting around them." Rinse and repeat. You see the potential for abuse.
