BW, I believe there was only one blood summoned at the school, all the other ones floating about are least spirits, they only posess people.

Yeah...only two blooded summoned in play at this point, one at the school, one at the warehouse.

Also, blood-summoned are noted for their sheer stubborness in not wanting to die, and being rather smart. Remember, blood-summoned are some of the most powerful demons out there (only hybrids are stronger), so it will generally take more than one attack to kill one.

See: rockets at the warehouse, frag grenade et al in the high school.

I can assure you that John will not be going evil and destroying you all.

Edit - Also, would gas work on lesser demons? They control the body despite injuries, so the gas would have to completely paralyze the nerves or something to actually stop the possessed.

Can I assume the arrows are hitting/sticking, or are they glancing off harmlessly? Would like to know if 'step two' will happen, or if I should plan for something else.

Well, BW's metal encasing may have knocked your arrows free, I'm about to press my attack to give you ranged folks a chance to do a little thinking/hurting from afar.
