It's a trap? Don't be silly!
The adventurers had finished slaying the diabolical foes and were doing their necessary victory poses when all of a sudden one of their members spoke out. Emong flittered forth, all magical and faery-esque, and spoke aloud. "I can feel something off in the distance, in that direction!" Emong pointed. Everyone looked. They saw trees. The group shrugged, though, as the other mages began to also feel that mystical aura, and after minor discussion they agreed that investigating a mysterious aura of magic was definitely the way to go. Which was a good thing, as the bunnies would've poisoned them. Nobody can eat something that was unhappy and not suffer a poisoning. Except maybe trolls...but who likes trolls? So the barbarians led the way, cutting through the underbrush and shoving aside the dead logs, pushing on to the mysterious location which would soon be revealed. What they ran across was not a trap, but instead an ancient temple. The temple, stones covered in vines beginning to crumble from years of solitude in the wilderness, was as ancient as one could possibly find in this area of the world. Standing outside of it stood two stone statues of cyclops, while the inner area was darkened save for an unusual purple color glowing ever so dully. The stairs leading up to the temple door, which was wide open and obviously barely hanging onto it's hinges, had fallen into disrepair and proved to be usable, but barely. The group continued onward, hoping to investigate the temple, as the magical aura was deep within the temple itself, when the vines sprang to life! ~~ Conflict!!! (25x) Wild Vines Of Somewhat Doomish Doom - 2 combat ~~ Result: Tendronai - 2 HP Damage Moogle - 2 HP Damage Mr. Bookworm - 2 HP Damage Jay - 2 HP Damage ~~ Killed Pink Bunny - Dodged Barrel-Hating - Dodged Cephrir - Dodged Secret Skull - 2 HP Damage Tophat - 2 HP Damage Zavage - 2 HP Damage Marn - 2 HP damage Emong - Owned - Killed - Everyone else had high enough combat to not take any damage Those who got killed can be revived. Those who were killed were only killed because their HP Was so darn low to start with. That's the danger of shoving all your stats into Magic guys. 4 Experience to everyone, except the dead guys. - As the chaotic fight came to an end, the fallen and injured could easily be seen to be primarily those of a magical orientation. Perhaps what laid ahead was closely guarded against that? Most likely healing would be tossed around soon...but while the healing was occurring the group had choices before them. ~ Choice 1 :: Retreat back to the main path and return to the original mission ~ Choice 2 :: Venture into the temple, and toward the purple glow. ~ Choice 3 :: Investigate the exterior of the temple, including the roof.

I think I'm going to sit in between choices now and consider using my Kobold special ability after this choice is done. However I would like to know HOW exactly healing is done? Do we pick one person to heal x amount of points or what? Otherwise I won't use the Kobold's special ability if it just duplicates what the medic can do already.

Hanging around outside doesn't seem very useful, and if Arlan offered it, then it might even be bad. I Vote: Choice 2, perhaps we can find some neat artifacts inside.
Also, anyone with 2 HP at the moment, (like myself), should point themselves out, because they are in the most danger of dying from most random combats.

How does the Knight's power actually work? I thought unarmed opponents (Vines don't have arms do they? :shifty: ) couldn't hurt me. Also how does one go about "backstabbing" other players, you know just incase.
