(anim2) Also, I also don't think Scar's tattoo tells him what happened to Nina. In the manga, and presumably the 2nd anime, it's only made for destruction, not analysis and other stuff. He can only destroy stuff if he already knows what it is; that's why he failed at breaking Ed's arm the first time; he thought it was flesh, not steel.

anyway, yeah I figured it was(anim2/mag) him going to kill tucker, getting there, hearing him calling the chimera his daughter, hearing the chimera calling him daddy, and putting two and two together

Well they have red eyes all the time, but they've all got "Oh shit that is a scary thing I just saw" faces on there.

Now that I look at it, the whole picture seems kind of desaturated. The dude in front is noticeably darker, but otherwise yeah, in anime1 they were swarthy.

The brown skin offsets the red eyes, maybe it's a flashback scene or something.

definitely a washed-out flashback scene. Scar is one of them, but you'll notice he looks a good deal more colored then them. So it's certainly a product of a flashback.

By "one of them", I meant Scar is also an Ishvarlan, therefore he has similar skin and eye color.
