The Fracción is the name of an Espada's soldiers, much like a captain's division. These are taken, at the Espada's choice, from any of the arrancar, notably from the numeros [i.e. each Espada has arrancar from the numeros serving with them, at least if they chose any]. They should all be of adjuchas level, as I don't think gillian-level arrancars would make it into division-like roles (though of course there was Aaroniero Arruruerie, so it's definitely possible).

Oh, whoops. So what is the name of the Arrancar's release state? Is it just Shikai? Or is there some other, more gramatically wonky Spanish name?
(Whatever I say about Kubo's Spanish, I will admit that it's impressive that he manages to find Spanish words that can be written in Japanese to have an entirely different, but no less fitting, meaning.) |

Resserecion (ressurection) is the name of arrankar's release. Not like Shikai or Bankai, as it doesn't release their inner power. It just Semi-reverts them to their Hollow State. So it's much closer to an Vaizard's Mask summoning.
Note also that Gillians tend to be Monstrous looking, While Adjuchas are very humanoid with just small pieces of their Hollow masks in them. And Vasto Lorde could just be an Human-Looking being with those Hollow holes in them. Which, to be honest, i would not be surprised if it was the case of Aizen, Tousen and Gin. There is no allusion that a Shinigami can actually turn into an arrancar... but that's what Aizen was looking into, so... |

Huh. That'd be interesting. If that were true, then perhaps that's the answer to what happens when an arrancar removes all of his mask.
Of course there's already a precedent for Shinigami becoming Arrancar... sort of. Y'know, because the Vizard are essentially reverse-arrancar, being Shinigami who put on the mask, instead of Hollows who take off the mask. |

There is no Toph, only Melon Lord!

Explanations abound:
Yammy isn't a vastlorde. His power is literally being a battery. It's why he's the only Arrancar we've seen eating souls/other hollows, it's why he's grown bigger in Hueco Mundo(Just being around assloads of spirit particles), and is also why he's been eating a shitton and sleeping a lot up until now. He is the hollow with potentially the most raw power, so while unreleased he's just a chump bitch who gets smacked around by Ulq because he hasn't eaten and slept enough. Given a bit of time to charge up, he gets more overwhelming power than any Espada. There's no way he's a vastolorde because they are almost identifiably humanoid, and Yammy is like an Ankylosaurus or something in that last picture of him. Chances are either the top four are Vastolorde, or just Stark is (It's why #2 hates him so much. Ulq's big "trade regen for power and vice versa" thing is why he's weaker than Halibel and Barragan, who are as powerful as Adjuchas get, whereas Stark, who is almost barely recognizable from a human, just happens to be vastly superior by merit of being a Vastolord Arrancar. About the arrancars themselves and Aizen's magic ball: we know for sure SOME of the espada didn't get Death Ball'd into arrancar. How? Well there was a Flashback to years and years passed with Nel and Nnoitora at the very least hunting vastolordes for Aizen, so there's a natural Arrancarizing process. I actually think that Wonderweiss was one of his first/his first usage of the Death Ball.

I hadn't realized how far we had gone.
Well, it's about that time for the old thread to get eaten by a new, more powerful one.
