What everyone is missing is that BM is more dangerous dead than alive. If they kill him, he'll just retake hell and come back to ravage the world until that one demon pushes him back into his corpse, in which he will still be dangerous.

And since he has died and he's declassed, he'll be able to double his hellppower by rekilling his doppledanger.

But they could lock him up until his hadoken recharges (it may take a while to recharge since he's deleveled.) and then he will kill thief after forcing him to make his will to BM. BM will then spend this fortune on the doomsday spells and then wreak havoc. Onion kid will go into a coma for a few years after until Black Mage heads to space to burn more world, and Onion kid will lose his memory so he won't think that the LW's are still alive.

I find it odd that White Mage doesn't seem the least bit pissed off about BM killing her. And that no one is the least bit surprised at her being alive (Fighter and Thief didn't see RM heal her).

Perhaps this is WM's lost identical twin?

You're forgetting:

-The Four Fiends rule Hell

-BM being de-leveled means his doppleganger his way stronger than him

-He only took over hell by ripping out the spines of people. A tactic that won't work again unless he somehow manages to get rid of Lich, who is so beyond dead it's not like he would have anywhere else to go.

I'm interested in this too. I figured they're still shocked that Chaos is even dead.

I figured it's just that 1125-1129 aren't meant to be taken seriously, so the characters don't really care. Or maybe Sarda reverted Super Evil Black Mage's murders so much that even any emotional impact was erased.

Think about it. Fighter is too out of it to ever realize when anything important is going on. Both Thief and White Mage can see BM for what he really is, and know his intentions. Combine that with the fact that nobody actually dies when BM kills or tries to kill them, it's pretty much not even worth the character's time to express any form of shock or emotion towards these past events.

Sorry if that was awkwardly worded, I'm not feeling too great today.

Yeah, me too.

I knew that was too much to hope for, though. I was even one of those people who hoped for Black Belt to come back. And Dragoon.

At least the Other Warriors stayed dead. They were useless.
