"Kardin Aeronech, leader of the Marlag." He stood in thought for a moment. "I've figured out how to find the Roshum. Obviously, they embrace death, the only way to find them is to hide and follow them. Anybody capable of hiding in shadows, follow me."

"So you are the Marlag leader, very well, I will assist you. Even though I am a preist, after seeing what these people do, I cannot let this continue. If any of you are wounded, please come to me for assistance. Unfortunatly I am not one to hide in the shadows, however, I can follow from above and avoid being seen."

Vars stood and began to walk away. "I don't need anyone. I'll kill them on my own."

Regardless, I have a score to settle. He jumped to the rooftops in search of Roshum. He spotted some walking towards the outskirts of town. He followed two building behind them.

Ten minutes later, Vars stood in an old, abandoned mansion. Knowing that this was the Roshum's base, Vars had immediately gathered four more elven followers of Kel Nu'ur, and together they made a new Kel Nu'ur sub-faction called the Band of Brothers.
He and his friends had gone to the headquarters of the Roshum, their first goal being to wipe out the other sub-faction for treason against their clan.

The were met at the door by twenty armored Roshum, one of whom was instantly stabbed in the face by a serrated sword. The door then collapsed, and the five elves rushed in, toppling any guard who opposed them. Soon, the floor was littered with Roshum bodies, and the Band of Brothers rushed down a spiral staircase, revealing a large underground structure where the Roshum leaders were based, along with their own small army of guards. The other four members of the Band of Brothers; Vector, Vincent, Verdi, and Vakder (see the coincidence?), took one passage to distract the guards while Vars took the other.

Vars sprinted down a passage and fond six Roshum. After killing them, Vars emerged into a room with a large pool at it's center. At the bottom of the pool was a hatch that couldbe opened. Vars dove in and opened the latch, descending into the living quarters of the Roshum leader and his High Three, all of whom were sleeping. Vars smiled and brutally stabbed them all, dragging their corpses back to the hatch. He opened the hatch again and tossed out the bodies, allowing blood to spill into the pool. The Band of Brothers drenched the headquarters in oil and ignited it. They were walking away when the whole mansion went up in flames. The five thieves turned and looked at it burn, grinning, and then left.

Maybe I should have mentioned that Kardin ALSO means "The Cursed". That's when the fire started and the clock struck midnight. "Oh SHIT. Vars, we have to get whoever they were going to sacrifice out of there or Alexis will be summoned. The curse. he ran into the flaming building.

Melandie had followed Kardin, as he slided into the grounds near the mansion. Unlike Kardin, she hadn't jumped on the building, but had walked on the streets, trying her best to look unsuspicous and ordinary. As ordinary as she could be, being an ordinary looking woman on the streets at midnight. God, I hope no one I know sees me walking on the roads at this time, she thought walking on.

By the time they reached the mansion her legs had started hurting from the long walk. I knew I shoulden't have come. It's not my war. But it's quite interresting.

They waited for a while, when the building suddenly ignited, the fire starting from the right wing and engulfing the house in flame in less then 6 minutes. "goodness..." she said gaping. Then Kardin ran into the house. "Wait! Whose Alexis?" Melandie yelled at Kardin. He would take no notice. So Melandie picket up the hem of her skirt and followed him for a while, running as fast as she could in the dress.

"Alexis is the father of Kel Nu'ur," said Vars. His cold, gutteral tone made Melandie jump. He was standing behind her, his cloak wrapped around him. Behind him were four other figures who were about his height.

"Oh! Um... Thank you for replyning. I didn't notice you when I was running this way. By the way, who are those others behind you? They seem new. I don't mean to be inquiring, but how could you finish up a building so fast. And why are you opposed to summonig Alexis?" Melandie said as soon as she had regained herself.

It has been universally established as the amount of magic needed to create one small white pigeon or three normal sized billiard balls. He moved in a way that suggested he was attempting the world speed record for the nonchalant walk. For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks.
