Here is an old sketch of mine. Be warned the scanner butchered it a bit. (I butchered it a little as well.)

Very good, QueenQeeko! Very funny!
Sithdarth: Very good as well! Very nice work on the folds in the clothes, especially. Did you use a reference, or did you draw from memory?

That was great Qeeko, very funny indeed. We all knew your obsessiveness about him would go overboard sometime. :p
Sithdarth: Niceness. I like how much detail you put into it. |

Wow we have a lot of talented artists' here. Anway, I have nothing new, so I'm going to post some pictures from a book I made last year in school.
Here's the cover: And here's the only drawing I've made in my life without a refrence, a character of my own, that I actually like! He's the lead character in the story, but it's in first person, and it never metions his name... so until I remember his original name, he shall be named Steve!

Thanks but my only talent is imitation. Which is how a drew that. It required constant refferance to the original. The interesting thing is that whole picture was done with the same mechanical pencil. I'm looking for something else to draw but nothing has caught my attention so far; any suggestions?
This is another drawing from the same time period. Actually ot was done just before the one above. It went a little beyond the sketch stage though. Last edited by Sithdarth; 09-11-2004 at 03:56 PM. |

Selan drew a desktop >_> It's large. I'll just post a link.
(I haven't uploaded it to my site yet... so it's a link to Deviant.) http://www.deviantart.com/view/10517089/ |

Nevertheless, Sithdarth, that takes not inconsiderable skill. As to the pencil, I only use a mechanical pencil (0.7 leads), and find that it does the job. Certainly other pencils (2Bs etc.) would produce better effects, especially in terms of shading, but I haven't had the urge to go to the extra effort so far.
As to suggestions, what do you like to draw? Very nice, SelanPike. I like the style.
