Well, I've never seen this thread. and I still don't know what it's for.

So very tentatively.

AIDS vs. Hepatitis B?

This thread is for all the fantastical clashes you can think of as long as they don't involve the Texas Ranger or anyone from Dragon Ball.

Going through wikipedia, it seems Hepatitis B has a cure, while with AIDS you can only put the virus at bay for so long.

So AIDS. Now, the problem would be if the two diseases decided to work together for some greater goal. Then we would be screwed. OKAY SERIOUSLY I GOT TO FINISH THAT PAPER FUCK

Well, AIDS can be spread only by blood/bodily fluids that are recently activated/used/exposed. After several minutes of being exposed, the virus dies (it may be slightly longer than several minutes, may be an hour? I don't remember, but I should know this!)

Hepatitis can live in dried blood/dried...anything for up to a week? And if you but TOUCH that dried...anything within that week, the virus will live on your skin, and if it can find any opening (if you put your finger in your mouth when eating, touch a cut/wound...get involved sexually with anyone and use your hands within a week), u r skrewd.

Furthermore, I don't think Hepatitis B can actually be cured, it can just be prevented from continuing to replicate.

I wonder what would happen if you DID have both AIDS and Hepatitis B at the same time though.

I know that, but looking through the thread every final fantasy character HAS won every time. Aside from that, I was referring more specifically to the Cloud vs Dante debate that has not shut up for the last 3 days.

Well as I've said in the past, purely taking statistical comparisons any Final Fantasy character wins because the game is made so that, with enough time and gil, you can make an unbeatable character. Be it through 99 healing items or some magic/item combo or something. So, yes, in short every Final Fantasy character beats everyone else.

But it's not like anyone actually claims victory - who really 'wins' any of these? It's not like we're claiming NPF Character Power Level Precedence to reference from henceforth.

Though I do find it funny that Dante vs Cloud sparked up a hellstorm of debating before turning the thread quiet.

Also, AIDS wins I think, if only because it mutates far more than Hep B ever has, making itself unkillable.

Hepatitus B wins. HIV can't actually kill you, it just makes it really easy for other things to kill you. And Hepatitus B doesn't have a cure, it has a vaccine. So if you catch it before you are vaccinated, you're screwed.
