Hope V had at least 11d6 hit points left before going through the barrier.

Half dragon half ogre? Jeez! Talk about str bonuses...
Also if anyone's interested the Empress probably has the Ravening template for dragons. Essentially it gives +4 str and -4 chr, +2 dc to their breath weapon. They can use their breath weapon once a round for three rounds then have to wait 1d4 to use it again. Anyone who attacks the ravening dragon with a non reach weapon takes 1d6+ 1 per caster level of their breath weapon damage, and the dragon has to eat its own size category in food each day. So one huge creature, or 4 large creatures, or 16 medium creatures, so on. It's always hungry, too.

That said: de donde es la "ravenous template"? Por favor! EDIT: Why 11d6? Also, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what he didn't have. ... Although on further consideration, it might not be so bad as I was thinking - he seemed unable to move due to the strength-drain, not by being at 0 hp, so, yeah, I dunno, but that's still an awful lot of damage for a wizard to face.

And you need to be level 11 minimum to cast Heal, since he didn't do any scroll garbage.

You should try a half red-dragon, vampiric, humanoid sea troll. I unleashed one of those once, but mostly because it's immune to pretty much everything that's not fire or acid (and it has reasonable fire and spell resistance).
Our halfling pacifist cleric with 8 str managed to outgrapple it, however, so maybe it's strength was less than I remember. |

Reading all this warms my heart with the thought of how much I love 4E and how when I want a monster that's resistant to fire, cold and necrotic I can just write down "Resist fire 10, cold 10, necrotic 10" instead of having to juggle templates and LAs and all.
On the other hand there's a distinct advantage to a system where you can describe someone as a half-dragon half-ogre or a vampiric troll and everyone knows at least roughly what they're in for. |

What granted the subdual immunity? Vampire doesn't, half dragon doesn't, and sea trolls according to memory are just aquatic trolls, who take damage from non fire and acid and need to be in water to regenerate.
