There we go. A couple of tries and I managed to get a working, filesize-friendly comic up that says something for the plot but doesn't take it over altogether.

Enjoy.

I had a conversation for Mauve and Loyal planned out, but when I put it in it just seemed to clutter it up and didn't really do much. In the end I decided that it was funnier to simply let people guess what was being said.

Comic 40 now!

DORATERATOPHOBIA?

I left my JAQ notebook laying around last night and my dad went through and read all the comics. Later at dinner I was discussing comic 45 with my brother, saying how I was having trouble coming up with a joke to end it on, when my dad asks, "There are jokes in your comic?" I replied with, "Ouch."

Note on the title: Today's title is not a real word. I was trying to find something that means "fear of furries", but since there is no such word, I had to improvise. While furries could be considered anthropomorphics, anthrpomorphobia means something very different than what I was going for. So I took the doraphobia, which is the fear of deformed people, and teratophobia, which is the fear of animals (specifically their skins) and combined them. Probably wrongly.

because he was complaining that nobody makes comics about him and also because I noticed that the only sprites taller than mine are megaman edits, combined with the fact that in chat he's seven feet tall, roundabouts.

Warning: bad ninja pun ahead! Also, another Ghostbusters reference.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Today's comic makes reference to my first real (pre-JAQ) sprite comic. So if you don't get why BMG is laughing, take a look. Bet you didn't think I'd tie that one into JAQ, did ya? I'm telling you, everything always comes full circle...

Two comics in one day? Mental!

DO WE NEED A SCRABBLE BOARD?

As this was comic 42, I couldn't resist. And hey, I even worked in a reference to another well known bit of british humor! On another topic all together, isn't that first frame cool? It's currently my desktop background.
