Argus Agony
|
As the bear slept, the pendant around its neck began to glow brightly as it was triggered by some unknown force. Suddenly, a protective aura formed around the bear, providing it protection from the storm.
--------------------- Rei, on the other hand, was having difficult navigating the torrential wind and downpour as she flew over the arena. Forming a forcefield around herself, she moved her way over to the airborne Hawk. "Heya, I just want to make sure you aren't putting our audience in danger with this. If you can't keep control of it to that extent, I'll have to issue a warning..."

The wind was really starting to piss IC off. He ended up shoving his giant fucking sword into the ground to hold himself steady, but he already spilt his tea. Well, there was the box still. So IC stood to one side, then lifted it up, so that it opened away from him.
Then he kick the box into whatever or whoever was under it. |

As it turned out, there was a very confused chicken under the box.
"Squawk!"

Fenris flipped through the settings on his banstick. "Edit Thread" caught his eye. He added some stairs ascending to the top of the thread he was currently in, and added another locked door to the top of the thread, to complement the locked door already at the bottom. Fenris ascended the stairs and sat on the top of them, feet dangling off the side. He considered heading out to see what was what, but he decided to wait for a little longer, still waiting for the real explosion, instead of the Potassium/Water one.

IC grabbed the chicken and threw it at Hawk. No way in hell it would hit him in these conditions, but it would be somewhat fun to see who it hit.

A roasted chicken promptly hit IC in the back of the head.

IC promptly grabbed the roasted chicken. "Well, at least I got some lunch." IC said, which would be impossible to hear in these winds, so he started eating. No since to fight on a somewhat empty stomach.

Black simply stood by Nikose and awaited his order, figuring that his teacher would tell him what to do, even in the middle of a fight. "I wonder what fun we can have in here." A big smirk appeared out of nowhere on Black's face. He was planning something.

The giggling girl’s cloak flapped melodramatically in the wind force of the twister, so she released the tangling thing. What was revealed was a paragon of an eyestrain: one with silver-white wings and an absurdly bright turquoise top. She gazed into the windstorm, hair and clothes flapping—she was strong, but not necessarily heavy enough for this.
Raven spoke an invocation, short, quiet, and unheard amid the wind. The eyestrain she produced worsened as she seemed to glow... except the inverse: an impossibility of an image, and utterly eye-twisting. A goddess-figure, a transparent apparition of one anyway, sprung up protectively over Raven, and a barrier of ephemeral sheen flooded into place between Raven and the twister. With a few more unhearable words, the goddess apparition fell onto Raven’s form with a crimson glow. Raven’s entire body seemed to take on a reddish sparkle, and her nervous motions seemed exaggerated and quick. This was just what the people looking at her needed.

Melfice was getting just a little bit tired of waiting for things to really happen.
He decided waiting for quieter storms was still the most profitable option, and remained at his position, ready to defend himself, should something serious happen.
