Darb's military training kicked in, and instantly blocked out the pain. She didn't hit as hard as his old fields instructor. At the same time, he got a lopsided grin.
"Come on, it was good for you, wasn't it?" There was another stunned silence. Then something dawned on Darb. A wiser man would not have said it. A wiser man would have apologized. Darb was not that man. "Oh no...they check in on visitors every five hours or so. We're going to have to keep up the illusion!"

"Hey Darb, have you ever had a broken jaw?" Sheena said with a slight grin, "I'd rather you didn't suddenly ambush me with the thought of you being my husband on a honeymoon again."

"I, in fact, HAVE had a broken jaw before. I got it broken first by my fields instructor, and later by a Yuuzhan Vong who lost his amphistaff."
There was an odd silence. "Admit it. You like the idea of being married to the big hunky soldier. And Thomas? ETA?"

Thomas was tapping his foot on the floor.
"You guys wanted to keep a low profile, yet you used your names. This MUST be your first time keeping a low-profile. All they have to do is run a check on the names, and they're going to know who you work for, and who you're affiliated with." He looked out the window as the speeder zoomed by. "And yes, we're here." The speeder slowed to a stop in front of a large apartment building. Thomas stepped out, and pulled a pair of sunglasses from his robe pocket. "Keep a low profile. Like I said, this guy is antsy. Just being with me isn't going to guarantee that he won't call the cops on us." Thomas walked up to the door of the apartement building. Beside the door was a series of buttons. You were supposed to push a button to communicate with a room. Thomas reached to the side and pushed away some cobwebs. There was a button that didn't see much use. Thomas pushed it. "Kittar. Kittar! Wake the hell up, you lazy bantha!" There was the sound of movement on the other side, and a voice came through. "Yes. What do you want. Is it important? Were you followed? You're not from the government, are you?" "Kittar, you're testing my patience. I played nice by calling first, but either you let us in, or I start breaking doors down." "Oh, Thomas! Good to hear from you again. I was wondering when you would be visiting again. Though you never know, what with a job, sleeping, eating, social activities, personal activities, training, entertaining-" "Kittar, I wasn't kidding about the doors." "Right, right... Who's there with you? Are they spies?" On the ceiling above the door, a blaster camera moved and aimed at the group behind Thomas.

Kee snorted. "If they want to thearch me up, they'll have to thearch up my full name. The motht they'll get on the name Kee ith a rather rugged-looking human merchant with a beard. I checked...." At that moment, Kee tugged off her gloves and her hands casually swung to her waist, hovering near her concealed saber. She did not like the prickling sensation at the back of her neck. It boded worst things than her precog can think up of. And that blaster camera wasn't making her happy either.

Getting past customs was easy. Tal had talked the official into letting him pass and even got invited for a drink later (diplomacy 10). Now standing infront of the door with a blaster aimed at him, he couldn't help but laugh. "We come all this way, slip past customs without papers, and get held up at a door. Thomas, just vouch for us and lets get a move on. The longer we delay, the more time we loose."
(OOC:will have a harder time posting at night. Work almost every day, but will keep up when I get home.)

Some guy.

'Well, meditating has never been something im good at' Arias thought as he exited the ship and watched the others get through the customs. A smirk came up on his face at the sight of Darb's attempt at getting through. He moved up to one of the Bothans to get himself through.
"Your name?" The bothan asked "Sai Enandor" Arias replied (Im bad at names, ok) "Purpouse for visiting?" The bothan asked "Vissiting a friend of mine" Arias replied And then they kept talking and Arias finally made it through after a while. (I think I have something about 5-6 diplomacy) They reached the house of Thomas friend and a blaster camera came out and aimed at the group. If not for the training at the jedi temple/academy he would have destroyed it imidiately. One thing he had learned was calm. "I agree with Tal. We need to get this over with" Arias said after hearing Tal. |

"Your Name?" The Bothan asked Ziaon.
"Razma." Ziaon replied. "Can we hurry this up? I'm late for an appointment." "What is your business here?" The Bothan said like he was a broken record. "Listen you, I'm late for an appointment, it is one of the most important business deals I could make." Ziaon said in an annoyed tone. The Bothan looked up at him and Ziaon decided to do a little intimidating. The place started to shake and the Bothan looking at him started to fell really scared of the man standing in front of him. The Bothan didn't know why, but he seemed to know this man was causing this, so he rushed him through so he didn't have to deal with him. Now he stood with the rest of the group at the house, and Ziaon decided to put in his two cents about the new marriage. "You know, your marriage reminds me a lot about my own." He said with a smirk. |

Thomas reached up and moved the blaster camera aside.
"No, they aren't spies. Now let us in!" The voice came through the speaker again. "Are you sure? Just give me a moment, I could run a quick background check on them all..." "That's it. I'm breaking down the door." "WAIT! I only finished cleaning up recently from the last time you came over. Fine, fine. I'll let you in." The door opened, and Thomas walked through, followed by the others. They walked onto a platform, and it raised them up to the highest floor of the building. Thomas walked to an apartement door, and opened it. "Anyone home?" An old man with clean-kempt hair and an extremely clean room awaited them. There were monitors lining all the walls, and tv screens showed images of all parts of Bothan.

"Flatscreens? Your master technogenius still uses flat screens? When Holos have been in use for a couple thousand years?"
There was an odd silence. "Fine. I'll be blunt. Is there a bothan slicer good enough to get into...say, the new Centerpoint station? And is he missing?" There was an odd pause. Then the old man hurriedly scribbled down a location and gave it to Thomas. "Leave now! PLEASE! Those directions should take you to the apartment of the ideal man for that job!" Frantically, he hurried the group out. "Thomas, you realize that was a spice junkie, right?" was all that Darb said as he headed towards to their speeder. Then they stopped. Surrounding them was about thirteen or so people, all will blasters trained on them. One had a lightsaber (that's all yours Raiden) "You know, this is a nice speeder. I'm sure master Malificus would greatly appreciate its services. And all your valuables. Please." There was an odd silence. Darb took a step forward. Three blasters were trained on him. "Not now soldier boy." Darb glanced at Thomas and raised an eyebrow. "They know who I work for, huh?" OOC: They don't know that we're Jedi.
