Maybe the readers made a much bigger deal about the events than the characters? BM stabbed her by accident, plus she's fine now, thus is the nature of white magic so long as it's healed no injury really matters. Hell, she's healed pretty much every charcater from the brink of death.

And the fact that no one is surprised she's fine just drives home the fact that she was never dead to begin with and the readers went way overboard insisting she was.

Yeah, a couple things about your post there buddy. All four fiends were absorbed by BM, striking out your first and third comment, and BM's doppleganger was killed by a simple stab wound. So he probably could take over Hell again.

Also, question about the Hadoken! Since it siphons love from the world, would that mean that each Hadoken is weaker than the last due to there being less love than before? I would think so. Also, love is for pussies.

BM doesn't have the power to take over Hell anymore. BM's problems have aways been his poor aim and glass cannon status. Being dead removed the restrictions of the flesh so he could manage close combat and unleash his vast powers on the forces of hell. He has since lost his magical power, he'd just be anouther guy doomed to torment.

Black belt was diced up by man made weapons, the LWs were depowered by magic and exists on slightly different levels of change probably. Only saying, but this Final Fantasy exists on Brian's universe and if that was the case of them reverting it would have already happened due to Chaos being destroyed.

Methinks the OW miscalculated Chaos's nature.They assumed Chaos was the embodiment of darkness and entropy.Chaos couldn't be darkness and entropy,since if the universe was wiped out nothing would change and it would be order{albeit an abyss}.They should have used order-based attack instead of light-based attacks,and now they will be turned into muffins for it{really,they don't have to worry about being tortured forever since it's what everyone would expect}.Really,if BM wanted to worship{and usurp} a being of evil and destruction,he would've ignored the goofy Chaos and prayed to Morgoth/Satan/Darkseid

So, given all the frequent lack of 8-Bit Theater as of late, I've been tempted to actually read whatever that kung-fu looking comic is. Is it any good? It seems to be updated regularly at the very least, which is good thing for a comic to be and for my PAINFULLY BLUE BALLS CLEVINGERRR.

Absolutely. Don't go in expecting 8-Bit style "everyone is incompetent" humour or, in fact, very much humour at all though. In the FAQ Brian calls it "a kung fu movie, but a comic" and that's probably the best way to put it.

In my honest opinion, HIKYM is the second best of Brian's projects. I still think Atomic Robo is superior, though this is most likely because I've been able to experience more of the Robo story than the HIKYM story, due to the slow update schedule of the latter. But seriously, HIKYM blows 8-Bit out of the water, though it is definitely a very different kind of story from it.

It does seem to have minor pacing issues, but that's only because it updates twice weekly rather than magically popping into existence fully made.

I think this is indicative of the story quality: I wan't to read on, but I have to wait until the next update

Also, Mr. Speroni is stupidly talented.
