Well, I give up on trying to figure out nicknames. I suck like i said with that and I got homework as well.

... and I just found out that Zephyr (God of Wind) is the husband of his sister Iris (Goddess of Rainbow)... funny how that works out...

Luckily, that won't translate in Pokemon, since if this Nagarai of yours is a female only species, only Ditto can breed with her (and create another of her kind). :3

Yeah, been thinking. Nagarai's nickname doesn't have to be a nickname. Could be a proper name, like Iris. Or Aria.

I think I like Aria better, so let's go with that unless someone comes up with something better.

Aira is nice. Sounds more like a flying type name to me, but that doesn't matter. :3 Nice Italian name.

So is Pierce going to give her the name, or are you going to get Renny or someone else to suggest the name and all that?

Well, Aria the Nagarai does have wings, so...

And not every name has to mean something. Joey doesn't secretly mean "earth", Mark doesn't mean "lava", and Jennifer doesn't mean "fart".

Someone else is gonna have to suggest the name. Since it's the kind of name that Pierce might like, AB could suggest it and Nagarai would have to take it, despite it being suggested by another woman, because Pierce likes it.

Or Renny could suggest it and Nagarai would like it despite Pierce's objections.

Or maybe Nagarai is a manipulative mastermind tricks Pierce... somehow.

Nice name. Though I thought our purpose was to make your Nagrai seem more childish, and force Pierce to drop the "untouchable badass" exterior, not to make Nargai more human for (I can only assume) the purpose of making out.

(The fact that Renny's name DOES mean something was accidental. It means Small and Mighty in the Gaelish language.)

Benjamin for example may be a fairly respectable name in USA, but travel to Japan and you'll be laughed at endlessly, because the "Benja" in the name sounds like "Benjo" which literally translate to "Shit-House".

Dunno what you were thinking, but I was just looking for a name and you all suggested nicknames and I thought it would be a good idea and here we are.

I suppose we could always drop her height a bit and call her little Aria. But making her a full-on child would make her relationship with Pierce waaaaaay more innapropriate and make him much less likely to open up.

Hell, in the anime, multiple of Jame's pokemon gave plenty of unwanted attention (typically because contact with said pokemons would hurt him) such as the catcus hug or the Victrebell's only possible way to hug... via partial ingestation.
